The gold didn't melt off of the Capital building. Everyone gets along fine and legalization is hardly noticeable. What we have noticed is 60 million in additional state sales tax revenue coming in-that goes to schools, and everywhere else it's needed. Along with a lot of new jobs it has created.

Pot turns people into planters? Depends on what strain you're smoking. If you're smoking an Indica strain, then yeah, couch lock and not wanting to do anything can be an issue. However...............smoke a really good Sativa and you don't get the couch lock, you actually become energized and feel like doing things like cleaning the house or mowing the lawn.

And yes, there are certain strains that are Sativa dominant that also appear to help with creativity. One of those strains is Cherry Diesel. And while it might not increase my intelligence, it DOES give me a different perspective, which opens my mind up to new uses for old things, hence increasing my creativity.

Stoners want a bigger high? How many stoners have you actually sat down and talked with? My room mate really enjoys Indica strains because they help her with pain relief, but she can't smoke Sativa strains because it overloads her pain receptors and makes her hurt. Me? I prefer the Sativa strains, because I don't like to become couch locked, doing nothing. And..................if you were to check with most smokers, they have their favorite strains that they are loyal to, even if some of those strains are actually LOWER in THC content. Golden Goat is one of the lower THC content strains, but it also has a high CBD content, which is good for pain management. And, fwiw, you can only get so high at one sitting. After you reach a certain state, you will either (a) fall asleep (Indica strains), or (b) you will end up wasting smoke because you've already hit the threshold and can't get any higher.

Before making false statements like that, you should really do some research and actually talk to people who currently smoke and find out what their experience is or try it for yourself, because there is too much misinformation out there that is being touted as gospel.

Pot stays in your system. I've known people who changed dramatically when taking up pot. Booze doesn't do that to you unless you go full alky.

Pot does 'stay' in your system- but only at the blood level- after the period of intoxication persons are not impaired- any more than a person who had been drinking 12 hours before is still intoxicated.

I have known far, far more people who have changed due to drinking alcohol. And sadly, drunks are more likely to get mean and violent than stoners.
