Congress seeking testimony is not the adversarial action this admin has made it out to be. In the past it has been considered routine in most cases. But because this admin takes every opportunity to turn normal requests in to confrontations you have forgotten what a normal admin typically does and does not do.

The ONLY purpose for a full-blown hearing is because it is a fishing expedition. That is the reason why I asked you if you understood the purpose of a warrant.

A court warrant is granted for ONLY specific information or evidence. The cops are NOT allowed to fish for other incriminating evidence.

So, that is why the proper procedure for Congress to question the Executive is to go through the courts.

White House spokesperson Judd Deere confirmed to the Washington Post on Friday that Fauci would not be allowed to appear in front of the the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies on Wednesday.
