I actually just became acquainted with James Taylor’s music, being that I’ve always mostly been a traditional jazz, blues and Motown listener. My brother and sister in law had tickets to his show last month at Crypto Arena(formerly Staples Center) and took me along. What a GREAT concert!
He performed covers of some oldies like “Up On The Roof”, and “You’ve Got A Friend” he also did quite a few songs from his newest album “American Standard”, which he talked about. He closed out the concert by performing a duet with his son, who is also very talented. If I have a chance to see him again I will certainly do so.
