What can we expect from the RNC convention in Cleveland when the time comes?

Trump is likely not going to get to the required number of delegates to guarantee him in the nomination which means a brokered convention will take place. Talk about a chaos shit show. I hope it's covered live. Liberals everywhere will be enjoying it with popcorn in their laps.

Perhaps football helmets will be given out to each attendee to the convention? (lol)

Same as I expect from the democratic convention.

Long boring speeches, and the nomination of someone that shouldn't be allowed in the Oval Office.

I was hoping the Secret Service would allow guns at the convention. A couple gun fights would have really spiced things up.

Who knew the secret service decisions were law ? Lol @ blaming the SS.

Truth is the GOP wants to lose . They enjoy sitting back and complaining about everything . It suits them .

Maybe they can decide the nomination by who has the quickest draw. Trump and Cruz can meet out on the street at high noon.

Yo, it will be a good one! But no Protesters, they might get shot!

It's not so much the SS, it's our law here in Ohio.

Any public place can have gun restrictions simply by placing a notice on the door that guns are not permitted. All citizens (whether open carry or CCW holders) must abide to that notice.

As for possible gun fights, it would not be between supporters of Trump or anybody else for that matter. The concern was violent Democrats who may attack people. Then it would be fun to have some shootings.

I expect Romney to come out of a brokered convention. And Trump to run 3rd party.

Of course you would expect that. It's what they want you to think.

The RNC is not about to allow Trump running as a third party to happen. They are quite aware that such a decision on their part would guarantee them a loss this time around no matter who they put up.

So they will (reluctantly) give it to Trump provided that Cruz doesn't come close. They have no choice in the matter.

I hope you're right. Trump should be the GOP nominee. Cruz is a sleazy bastard.

I don't care for Cruz either, but you have to admit he's way more qualified to be President than Trump.

What some are predicting is that it won't be any of the candidates. I don't think there is any inside information on who it might be either, just a lot of projecting.

Kasich sure as hell isn't staying in the race because he thinks at this point, he will zoom past Trump and Cruz and actually take it. Romney had no reason to shoot off his mouth against Trump, especially since he knew he would come off as a sleeve ball given the fact Trump supported him and now Romney is stabbing him in the back. These people are doing what they are doing for a reason.

Rubio said he refused to give up his delegates although, he has a dream if he thinks the establishment will allow him to take the nomination.

Trump has put a real twist in the convention. Usually by now, candidates like Kasich would just admit defeat and perhaps even Cruz. Grasping for straws, or do they know something we don't know???
