What do you miss the most on an extended trip?

It's been years since I last did any kind of real traveling. Depending on where I was, I would most definitely miss the public places that can only be found in my area. One of my favorite restaurants can only be found here.

For me it's my back scratcher. Last two days were brutal without it.

I got one of those collapsible back scratchers for traveling.
But a wall corner or door jam will work in a pinch.

Or you can buy a "Tropical Itch" cocktail and many times they come with a back scratcher as a stir stick.

That's something I missed a lot too when I was working out of town. There was this little restaurant called Rambler's that was open 24/7. The cook there would make the most delicious perfectly done home fries and omelets.

You're in construction. Just use the claw of your framing hammer as a back scratcher.
