What have blacks got to lose in the Deep South? As soon as the Supreme Court unanimously strikes down one attempt by racist Republicans to deny blacks votes, they come up with another tact. It can't be denied, It's moved way beyond "Voter ID", the ignorant chant of the Racist Right.

No matter who you are, if you believe Donald Trump and the Deplorable Right, then you own your ignorance and you deserve what you get. They aren't even trying to hide their anti American racist policies. Just because the press won't report it, doesn't mean you have no responsibility to find out on your own.

I just watched one of Trump's supporters, a black pastor, insist Trump has such a close relationship with the religious community. A man who uses his charity as a slush fund to buy himself expensive gifts and pay for bribery. A man with a whole harem of wives he's cheated on, each one younger than the one before. And he has a close relationship with the religious community? A man who will say anything and has been caught in lies again and again. A man who has stiffed hundreds of his workers. A man who is going to court 20 days after the election for Fraud and Racketeering? A man who admires despots?

He has only given details on a few policies and the ones he has given the details on will bankrupt the country.

What do you have to lose? To me, the answer is "Our Country" and "Our way of life".

President Donald Trump has done something remarkable to the nation’s federal courts: he’s filled up their empty seats with clones of Vice President Mike Pence.

Whether it’s for district courts or higher-ranking appeals courts, Trump’s confirmed lifetime judges are overwhelmingly white men with records of opposing abortion, LGBTQ rights and voting rights.

A whopping 90% of Trump’s picks confirmed for appeals courts in his first two years in office were white, according to a Congressional Research Service analysis. 10% were Asian American. He didn’t confirm any African American or Hispanic circuit judges.

In that same period, 92% of his confirmed district court judges were white. 4% were Asian American, 2% were African American and 2% were Hispanic.


What do we have to lose? How about fair representation. Now the courts will see it's ok to make it harder for blacks to vote and they certainly aren't being represented in the courts. Blacks make up 15% of the population. Wouldn't it have been nice if 15% of Trump's appointments were blacks?

I hope they ban abortion someday. Too many people who are pro choice either didn't vote or voted for Trump.
