What legal standing does Barr have to NOT release Mueller's report to Congress?

Funny how Republicans were crying that Obama wasn’t transparent. And now you have a republican president who wants to hold back important information from the American people and Republicans are all cheering. These people are the party of nuts. They don’t care about America. Who even knows what they care about?
He's very transparent dipshit
he's not holding back anything...Rosenstein signed off on Barr's assessment....it's over, now jump in a lake
LOL...

Barr quoted two sentences from a nearly 400 page report.

With the appropriate caveat to members of Congress that names and methods of classified investigations NOT be revealed to the general public, what is the legal standing for Barr to not release the report? (of course, with the exception that Barr IS a Trump stooge appointed SPECIFICALLY to protect his cult leader.)

So, I ask again.....since Mueller's report was authorized by republicans and fully funded by all of us tax payers, what is the LEGAL PRECEDENT for the report to not be FULLY disclosed?
Um...your stupidly is showing. Again.

Was NOT ALL opinion. The FACT that your peeps changed the rules because of Starr and Clinton is proven fact, and 100% accurate.

Good boy.........You're following the cult standard procedure........ALWAYS bring up one of the Clintons whenever you have to "defend" your [orangy] cult leader.......LOL

Just what would the republicans have done if ken starr had pulled this garbage with his report on Clinton?

What would the republicans have done if that report had been given to Janet Reno and she had just "summarized" the report without releasing it to the public?

What would the republicans have done if Janet Reno had refused to release the whole report and the republicans had to accept what Janet Reno had "summarized" the report said without releasing that full report?

ken Starr and the republicans put the whole thing without any redactions on the internet for the whole world to see. There was no "summary." The whole report was released for the whole world to see.

It's obvious the republicans believe they're special and don't have to do what other special counsels did in the past.

You mean the report Nanci Pelosi voted to note release to the public?

Info: The Starr report contained innumerable redactions, required by law, to protect sensitive and/or private information, testimony and methods.
The Mueller report is subject to the same laws.

It's obvious the Democrats believe they're special and don't have to do what other special counsels did in the past.

Neither does a DOJ regulation, dope. The AG has discretion.
The AG is required by law to remove certain information from an IC, or any other, report before it is released.
He has no discretion on this.
Yes and Mueller's report no doubt separated those sections
By "no doubt" you mean "you made this up because ts suits you to do so".

Barr said he'd release the report when he is able to do so.
You have to wait, and no amount of whining will change this.

That actually makes sense because of the source, Nat's goal just seems to be putting out any negative propaganda, truth be damned.

Just so you and the other Trump cult members get up to speed (besides what Hannity tells you,) know this:

The best indication of timing on the release of the report, has come from an ANONYMOUS DOJ official, who said the report will be out in “weeks, not months..” Stooge Barr told Lindsay Graham that the report will be released to Congress in April.....without a clear date of when it would be released to the public.
You finally got something right. Barr did not mention a ‘clear’ date. Instead, he said by the 15th. Might be the 14th, 11th, 6th or some other date. So just relax your extremely sore aching ass a few days and when it does come out you’ll be free to come completely unglued over whatever’s there. While we sit back and enjoy the show you clowns will put up over it.

If I can think of doing that, so can Mueller.

He's dragging his feet. He'll release a report so redacted that it will no doubt be subpoenaed. At which time it will be months before congress gets it. Just as planned.

Since the report clears Trump

See, you eternal moron.........You join the Trump cult when you state "the report clears...."

WHAT FUCKING REPORT?????...................Not the Mueller 22 months report, dimwit.......it is the stooge Barr's synopsis of what Trump hired and told him to "summarize"..........

You morons are beyond on the IQ scale of what Trump called, "the poorly educated [my base]"....
It takes a special kind of stupid to believe that both AG Bar and Rosenstein are lying about what the report says.

Sure. Check back with me when the subpoena goes out.

The intel committee has clearances as well.
There's no reason they can't see the full unredacted report.

President Trump has stated he wants the full report released, all Republicans agree.

Why are you trying to pretend we don't want it released?

I can answer that: YOU don't want it released. You know how stupid the Democrats will look when the full story is known, and YOU want it suppressed. Sorry, you lose.

It's called the law....do you guys use Google at all? holy fuck you guys just read the talking points...….fucking sheep

Special prosecutor - Wikipedia

Here's what happens at the end:

"At the conclusion of the Special Counsel's work, he or she shall provide the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel."

I dont see public, congress or anyone but the AG in that sentance

It's called the law....do you guys use Google at all? holy fuck you guys just read the talking points...….fucking sheep

It's not a law, dope.

From your own link....
The terms 'special prosecutor', 'independent counsel', and 'special counsel' have the same fundamental meaning, and their use (at least at the federal level in the U.S.) is generally differentiated by the time period to which they are being applied. The term 'special prosecutor' was used throughout the Watergate era, but was replaced by the less confrontational 'independent counsel' in the 1983 reauthorization of the Ethics in Government Act.[5] Those appointed under that act after 1983 are generally referred to as 'independent counsels'. Since the independent counsel law expired in 1999, the term 'special counsel' has been used. This is the term used in the current U.S. government regulations concerning the appointment of special counsels.[6]

JEsus man, just use Google...I get tired of owning you lefties

28 CFR § 600.8 - Notification and reports by the Special Counsel.

(c)Closing documentation. At the conclusion of the Special Counsel's work, he or she shall provide the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel.

Attorney General’s Special Counsel Regulations

At the end of a special counsel’s investigation, section 600.8(c) of the regulation provides that a special counsel “shall provide the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel.” The special counsel’s obligation to file “a summary final report” is “limited.” The counsel’s report is to be “handled as a confidential document as are internal documents relating to any federal criminal investigation.” 64 Fed. Reg. 37041.

Liberals only care about the law when it lets them have what they want.
