What we need is a candidate who is articulate; has the fire in his/her blood to save our country from the Washington Pinko and global governance Establishment; who isn't afraid to put his/her opponent(s) on the spot for supporting proposals which violate our Constitution; and has specific proposals to deal with illegal entrants who have invaded our borders, and a specific plan to deal with the unconstitutional Obamacare which now impinges upon the inalienable right of the people to make their own decisions and choices regarding their medical and health care needs.

He/she should also make it a point to list and propose to undo countless despotic executive actions which our existing tyrannical president has fomented. And he/she should shame candidates like Jeb Bush who is embracing millions of illegal entrants who have invaded our borders and are now causing devastating economic and social consequences which Jeb Bush is happy to deal with by enslaving Americans to pay the economic costs which is now thrust upon the States and their CITIZENS.

Our Republican candidate ought to also have a listed point by point plan to reignite America's manufacturing base which could once again be the economic marvel of the world which once provided good paying jobs, even to those without Harvard or Yale degrees.

Finally, on tax reform, he should propose to withdraw the socialist experiment allowing Congress to tax incomes which has not only encouraged countless businesses and industries to leave America, but is a tool gladly used by our Washington Pinko Establishment to enslave hard working people living in our nation's inner cities by confiscating the bread they have earned by the sweet of their labor and inhibits them from accumulating wealth and improving their station in life.

Taxing the wages of working people helps a socialist government maintain a captive voting block which is dependent on free government cheese used as a bribe to buy their vote. Therefore, our candidate should propose the following as an amendment to our Constitution:

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the Sixteenth article of amendment and end taxes calculated from profits, gains, salaries and other “incomes”.

Section 1: The sixteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

Section 2: Congress is henceforth forbidden to lay ``any`` tax or burden calculated from profits, gains, interest, salaries, wages, tips, inheritances or any other lawfully realized money.

Section 3: This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by three fourths of the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission thereof to the States by the Congress.

The above would return us to our Constitution’s ORIGINAL TAX PLAN as our Founders intended it to operate which prevented Congress’ taxing power to be used to manipulate and enslave America’s entire population, including its manufacturing and industrial base.

This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities“. Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address

Also, he/she needs to have the talents of a typical rightwing talk radio host. If it's a woman, she has to be "hot" in a countryish way that appeals to old white men/women and rednecks. Tea Party rhetoric is vital in the primaries, but must be rapidly abandoned in the general so that normal people might vote for the candidate.

We are screwed unless we start all over again . Both parties have screwed over America to the point of no return . No longer do they work for us they work againest us .

Not true in the least. This country is not bad - it needs "tweaking."

Judicial reform, end the war on drugs and new tax code.

Republicans need a candidate who can tell the batshit crazy portion of the party to go fuck themselves

I disagree. I think our biggest problems are not that specific, they are more systemic.

The two major parties are committed to their own power - not to the country. And they have managed to choke out anyone who would promote a different approach.

Well, how about election reform? Why are candidates raising money non stop? How about only allowing campaigning for only three months a year?

Before any of these needs can be accomplished, we need to get the money out of our political system. That will take more than a tweak, it will require the citizens to educate themselves and realize CU v. FEC and McCutcheon v. FEC were horrible decisions which had nothing to do with the Freedom of Speech and Expression.

Justices of The Supreme Court should not serve for life; each justice should receive a commission to serve ten years, and an additional ten years if reconfirmed, but no more.

The war on drugs is and always has been a failure.

We need to toss out the current tax code and simplify it, not disguise it, make it less progressive, and thus make the spread between the rich and middle class wider and wider.

I just want him or her to leave gay marriage, contraception, and abortion alone.

And while he/she's at it...stop babbling on about gun rights and the bible too!

This election was big on fiscal issues - social issues were barely even discussed.

It worked!
During the 2010 midterm, the GOP talked about gm/contr/abor, and then after the midterm went on and on, till Obama won in 2012.

If they shut their yaps till 2016, I think the GOP will be in business.

I just hope if that works out in 2016, they don't start up again about it ater 2016, when they have the house, senate, and white house.

If that happens, it'll be the night of the long knives for the Tea Party. They'll shoot it in the head, and kick it in the ditch

Any Republican candidate needs to be a strong fiscal conservative and avoid social conservative issues like the plague

Democrats will bait you with questions on abortion, rape, gay rights and then bury you with sound clips

Very simple...... Conservative Ideology and Biography along with an unwillingness to compromise and a "Fuck You" attitude.

That would certainly guarantee the next president was a democrat.

A.) Someone who follows the Constitution of the United States
B.) Someone who will slash Washington bureaucracy by at least 50% and lay-off all the liberal bureaucrats with federal jobs sucking on the taxpayer tit and tell them to go home and get a real job.
C.) Restore the honor of the U.S. military after years of liberal meddling.
D.) eliminate the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Justice Department and appoint an Attorney General who will focus on prosecuting federal corruption instead of our local police.
E.) Support "block grants" to the states. 50 checks for 50 states after all NECESSARY federal spending is complete. Let states decide if they want to fund education and health care for their people. They can spend the money how they want. Keep the pork greased fingers of the Congress out of the process!!!!!
