It seems to me liberal meddling or subversion is far worse since liberals can do it openly and legally from within the USA. In a country based on freedom from liberal govt, liberals have subverted the populous enough such that a socialist like Bernie Sanders can walk around freely and even represent a major political party.

That said, their both just as bad, but they're also both just as expected. You do not become the most powerful nation in the world and have no one, foreign nor domestic, express preferences and opinions about your leadership, current or future.
