9/11/12, 10pm: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton issues a statement confirming that one State official was killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Her statement, which MSNBC (NOT Fox News) posted at 10:32 p.m., made reference to the anti-Muslim video.

The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. 9/11/12, 11:12pm (1hr/12 minutes later): Clinton sends an email to her daughter, Chelsea, that reads: “Two of our officers were killed in Benghazi by an al Qaeda-like group: The Ambassador, whom I handpicked and a young communications officer on temporary duty w a wife and two young children. Very hard day and I fear more of the same tomorrow.” (The email was discovered in 2015 by the House Select Committee on Benghazi. It is written to “Diane Reynolds,” which was Chelsea Clinton’s alias.)
9/12/12, AM (The next morning): Clinton delivers a speech at the State Department to condemn the attack in Benghazi and to praise the victims as “heroes.” She again makes reference to the anti-Muslim video in similar language.
Sept. 12, 3:04 p.m. (The next afternoon): Clinton calls then-Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Qandil and tells him, “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack — NOT a protest.”
FactCheck.org leaves NO question as to whether Hillary Clinton LIED to the American people by blaming a protest over the video for the attack and that she declares to her own daughter and the Turkish Prime Minister at the same time that it was definitely a terrorist attack!
Later Hillary testified, refusing to be under oath (now we know why), before the 1st Benghazi Committee and declared she had NO IDEA if Benghazi had been a protest over a video or a terrorist attack but tried to minimalize / end discussion on the matter by screaming out 'What does it matter'. (Her testimony is a far cry from what she told MSNBC 4 hours into the attack or what she told her daughter and Turkish PM.)
Her own recovered e-mails were used last week against her, proving, as FactCheck.org has already done, that Hillary deliberately lied to the American people while admitting to her own family and the Turkish PM that 'We KNOW it had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack - not a protest."
Liberals can try to blame Fox News for Hillary's failures / incompetence and lies if they want, but FactCheck.org proved that roughly 6 hours into the attack, that was still on-going, Hillary Clinton herself made the 1st reference to the film and a protest both the State Department and CIA had already proved NEVER happened.
(The CIA and State Department would later testify that a review of the compound video cameras NEVER showed any signs of a protest:
2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (8:30 p.m. Benghazi time) - 1 1/2 hrs before the attack begins: U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens steps outside the consulate to say goodbye to a Turkish diplomat. There are no protesters at this time. (“Everything is calm at 8:30,” a State Department official would later say at an Oct. 9 background briefing for reporters. “There’s nothing unusual. There has been nothing unusual during the day at all outside.”)
Approximately 3:40 p.m. A security agent at the Benghazi compound hears “loud noises” coming from the front gate and “gunfire and an explosion.” A senior State Department official at the Oct. 9 briefing says that “the camera on the main gate reveals a large number of people – a large number of men, armed men, flowing into the compound.” THIS was beginning of the terrorist attack. The men who charged the compound carried numerous weapons, to include Rocket Propelled Grenade launchers...NOT the sort of gear a 'protestor' would carry. Experts say this is exactly when the attack on the compound began.)
Again, HILLARY CLINTON HERSELF MADE THE VERY 1ST REFERENCE TO THE FILM AND IDEA OF A NONEXISTENT PROTEST, AS PROVEN BY FACTCHECK.ORG!
