When The Public is Disarmed, This is What They Get Instead
The Nixon-Kissinger de-stabalization of Cambodia (through the illegal invasion) led to Kmer Rouge takeover. The irony is that Vietnam (that's right, united Vietnam) took out the régime of murderers.
----------------------- who cares , your info is off topic . The Cambodians had no arms and no way to resist so they were easily herded , many to their deaths , torture , slavery 4eye .
Is this a reference to not being able to resist the Nixon-Kissinger invasion, which herded them into the 'arms' of the Khmer Rouge? Or, will there be more piss that it's off topic, despite the post that first brought up Cambodia? Is

Taliban were fine , just peasants fighting and removing a Super Power invader . Course the Taliban had weapons , we just gave them better guns and weapons so they could kick azz Brian .

Yes the Taliban are real good people if you like terrorists.

They have found a tunnel dug by hand at Ponar.

When you are disarmed by the government, digging your way out of death camps is your final state before they kill you, at least this is the result of such gun grabbing fascism in the 20th century.

A team of archaeologists and mapmakers say they have uncovered a forgotten tunnel that 80 Jews dug largely by hand as they tried to escape from a Nazi extermination site in Lithuania about 70 years ago.

The Lithuanian site, Ponar, holds mass burial pits and graves where up to 100,000 people were killed and their bodies dumped or burned during the Holocaust.

Using radar and radio waves to scan beneath the ground, the researchers found the tunnel, a 100-foot passageway between five and nine feet below the surface, the team announced on Wednesday.

A previous attempt made by a different team in 2004 to find the underground structure had only located its mouth, which was subsequently left unmarked. The new finding traces the tunnel from entrance to exit and provides evidence to support survivor accounts of the harrowing effort to escape the holding pit.

Yes disarmed people all over Denmark are trying to dig out. Same with Japan and Germany and Australia. Such aweful places.

Funny twit....you brought up Germany.....you are an idiot.....they registered their guns and turned them in in the 1920s and then when the nazis came into power in the 1930s they rounded up what was left with the registration lists.......

Japan...yeah twit....ask the Chinese, Okinawans, Filipinos, and everyone else they conquered if they were allowed to keep guns....ask the comfort women how they enjoyed their gun free status........

Australia...without our navy they would be speaking Japanese.....

--------------------------------------------------- thing is that these liberals never think ahead . Germany was a nice high minded place with a well developed society BEFORE the 'nazis' took over and then SUDDENLY the 'nazis' controlled life and death Jim Bowie .
Actually they had just lost a world war.
---------------------------------------------- yeah , but that was years earlier . My example still applies . A disarmed people are easy to make mincemeat of Brian . See 'pol pot' in cmbodia or cannibal 'idid amin' in Uganda . [think that it was Uganda]

Not very many years. Losing a world war is kind of a big deal.

The disarmed are going way more years without guns...

You are insulting our military and suggesting they would kill civilians?

Not in Mexico...twit.....the unarmed people in Northern Mexico are being murdered in their thousands by the police and military who are working for the drug cartels...with rifles that you morons say only the police and military need.....twit.

------------------------------------- funny but Brian is fishing ehh .

Well do you think our military would kill civilians? Seriously? Cause this theory is dependent on that.

The military now......in 20-30 years.....ask the Mexicans how they feel about their military.......governments that kill fill their military with people who will do the killing....that is what the SS was all about...

And that's exactly why Israeli Jews are fully armed and ready to rumble today. The unarmed weak will always be dominated by the armed. It's why most Governments around the world have disarmed their Citizens. It's not that these Governments oppose guns. They just oppose their Citizens having them.
Israel has strong gun control.

Israelis are armed and ready to rumble. They're required to serve in the military. They're trained and prepared to defend. They have no choice. It's either that, or be exterminated. They learned that from the Nazi Holocaust. They'll never go quietly again.

Gun ownership is heavily regulated. Ownership is very low.

Number of guns per capita by country - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And they have rapis reaction forces all over Israel waiting to respond.....twit...and it didn't stop the terrorists who opened fire in that market a few weeks ago......

However, gun advocates claim, armed populations never have the chance to stop tyranny as they are disarmed first. There are many cases though where this is demonstrably untrue. Yemen is currently the second most heavily armed country in the world (per capita), and it is currently a battlefield between a Western dictatorship and various Jihadist organizations who have no love for a free State. Saudi Arabia and several other Arab countries are heavily armed, with what can only be described as tyrannical governments. Iraq before the 2003 US invasion is perhaps the best example. Saddam Hussein falls under any definition of a tyrannical dictator, yet the Iraqi people were very heavily armed with a gun culture mirroring that of the US. How armed a population is appears to have no empirical bearing on how free that society is.

Yeah...his baathist supporters....gosh, you people are stupid....the nazis had guns...the Jews and the enemies of the nazis didn't......

And they were very well armed and became the Taliban. So much for guns keeping away tyrants.

Pol Pot took the guns
The claims of Cambodian gun control leading to genocide is, like the Uganda case, a post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy that conveniently ignores the fact that there was a massive five year civil war from 1970-75 in which the Republican forces protecting the “one million educated people” were decisively defeated. As Robert Spitzer, the author of “The Politics of Gun Control” states the idea that gun control led to genocide in Cambodia and the other countries mentioned represents “a cartoonish view of the complex events” and the people touting these ideas “don’t know comparative politics, they don’t know international relations, they haven’t studied war.”

Did those one million people have guns.......no. Were they put into mass graves...yes.....

Every mass murder you see around the world happens to people who don't have guns.....every single one.......

This is what is happening today...right across our border as Mexican police and military...with the very rifles you twits only want police and military to have...are murdering unarmed civilians in the thousands...to support their drug cartel allies....

Yes and being able to own guns isn't stopping it. You are wrong again.

A common misconception is that firearms are illegal in Mexico and that no person may possess them.[3] This belief originates due the general perception that only members of law enforcement, the armed forces, or those in armed security protection are authorized to have them. While it is true that Mexico possesses strict gun laws,[4] where most typesand calibers are reserved to military and law enforcement, the acquisition and ownership of certain firearms and ammunition remains a constitutional right to all Mexican citizens and foreign legal residents;[5] given the requirements and conditions to exercise such right are fulfilled in accordance to the law.[6]

Mexico’s Gun Control Laws: A Model for the United States? by David B. Kopel :: SSRN

V. CONCLUSION

In a nation where the constitution guarantees the right to arms, the laws ought to provide a practical, functional system for law-abiding persons to acquire arms.

In practice, the Mexican system fails to do so.

Law-abiding citizens are often forced to resort to extra-legal means to obtain arms for lawful self-defense.

Meanwhile, the pervasive corruption of Mexican law enforcement, which is substantially worsened by drug prohibition, ensures a ready supply of the most dangerous arms for the most dangerous criminals.
