Been saying this for a while. Guns, (machine guns) have been a around for a LONG TIME NOW. Yet, over the years we have seen more frequent stories about these mass shootings. Almost all of them connected with an anti depressant (or other mind altering drugs) of some kind. It has certainly been linked and reported that this Cruz asshole was on a drug, prozac as far as we know now.

Consider Newtown, Connecticut, killer Adam Lanza (I will provide the names of perpetrators of older incidents), who killed 26 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2013. He also was on medication, according to family friend Louise Tambascio. That’s all we heard about it, however; as Kupelian points out, there “was little journalistic curiosity or follow-up.”

But there should be. As Kupelian also informs, “Fact: A disturbing number of perpetrators of school shootings and similar mass murders in our modern era were either on — or just recently coming off of — psychiatric medications.” He then provides some examples (all quotations are Kupelian’s):

I don't know about you, but I love statistics and actually, you know, seeing what the data says. In my post, I'm specifically talking about school shootings the entire time, so I find it odd you're bringing up Vegas and Pulse. I'm specifically talking about school shootings. If you want to address mass shootings in general I will also argue that they are also rare considering overall America's population, and there is no real way to stop them completely with the amount of guns already floating in the general population and America's overall culture towards firearms.
Anyways, there are roughly 50 million children that attend public schools .This figure doesn't even touch private school attendance. Your link claims since 2013, 300 school shootings have occurred. If you ignore the fact that Schools are safer than they were in the 90s, and school shootings are not more common than they used to be, researchers say, and pretend that every school shooting in your link resulted in multiple deaths, maybe it would be an actual problem. But when you look at the statistics, and set emotion aside, the mortality risk of a child being a shot at school is MUCH lower than other things that are problems all on their own. Schools are safer than they were in the 90's, whether you want to like it or not.
From your link, it looks like half of those shootings involved accidental discharge, attempted suicide, or the firing of a gun with no one injured/firing of a gun with intent to kill with no deaths as a result. Set your emotions aside and look at the data, it doesn't lie. Schools are a lot safer than they were in the 90's.
