Trump has spent years courting Hillary and other Dems

Then his response changes into this:

My defense is 30+ years of watching Hillary and Bill twist the truth into whatever they want it to be. You'd have to be living in a cave with no access to the outside world not to know it.

Trump has never denied - indeed he has boasted about - supporting politicians whom he considered stupid, incompetent, wrong-headed, and/or corrupt. It is part of The Game that he seeks to eliminate. He will not be corrupt because he has no need of the money, goodies, and other "favors" that Special Interests shower politicians with, in order to get their support.

I don't know if I would say that Hillary's supporters are "liars," but I do admit that I have no idea what would motivate them to support such a detestable crone for President of the United States.

As for Goldman Sachs, Trump is himself a shareholder in Goldman Sachs, which means he has a direct financial interest in its success. One would think that would make Trump even less enthusiastic about protecting me from Goldman Sachs (whatever that means) than Cruz would.

There is essentially not a major Wall Street entity that Donald Trump or his companies have not taken out loans from or received financing from. In fact, that’s more or less his entire business model.
