17'You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may surely reprove your neighbor, but shall not incur sin because of him. 18'You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD.
- Leviticus 19

"Fear leads to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering." - George Lucas, "Star Wars: Episode 1"

"Where there was war, Muad'Dib would now bring peace. Where there was hate, Muad'Dib would now bring love." - Frank Herbert, "Dune"

"Science is beginning to confirm what certain wise men have said at different points in history. King David said, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Prov. 17:22. Your mind and mental state can have a profound affect on your physical body, your spiritual experience, and your over-all quality of life. The mind, the body, and the spirit are all inextricably interconnected. When one is affected, the other two suffer. We can live a healthy lifestyle and perform our spiritual duties, but if the mind is not healthy the other two cannot make up for the lack, and we are not truly wholistically healthy or healed.

Physical problems: Worry, anger, jealousy, hate, ill will, grudges, vindictiveness, irritation, resentment, guilt, depression, anxiety, lack of joy and happiness, and all other negative emotions and thoughts have a negative effect upon the body and open the door for sickness and disease. There are now quite a number of cases where a disease or sickness or altered health can be traced back to a mental cause."

We shouldn't give into hate at all.

But what some people call hate is merely disagreement.

Draw the line by preventing thid site to sink further into the abyss of being a hate site. Time for new mods

Does that not depend on what you hate?
No, not really if you are Christian and embrace the word of our Lord. I hate no one....but would love to see certqin factions die a horrible death.

We need to tweak the old "frown on racism" campaign, for our present-day reality. From now on, whenever a good citizen hears someone speaking of racial violence, it is the hearer's duty to break the racist's trigger fingers.
