Where The Money Scott Walker Is Cutting From Universities Is Going

Why is there such a disdain for the average working person? The usmb is full of posters who show nothing favorable to anything that helps out the working class person and favor those things that benefit those at the top. Where does this twisted sick mentality come from? SS bad, Medicare bad, unions bad, education overrated, cut health insurance, benefits bad, the list goes on. I don't understand the negativity towards the average person working their tales off to barely scrape by and are no farther ahead than they were 10 years ago. Why the hatred?'
It's horrifying. It mainly comes from this perverse idea that everyone who is wealthy earned it off their own backs, and multi billionaires who hire third world workers to do their labor that gives them profit are meaningless.

I don't care how you take it, you're an idiot. My point (and I'm not surprised you missed it) is that most people find that the "education" they received is inadequate and end up having to get a REAL education (the kind you pay for with your own money) before they can find work in their chosen field. But since your chosen field is probably collecting welfare, you wouldn't know about that.

Please back up your claims with some kind of link.
Why bother? I'm not trying to convince you of something everyone already knows.
So, you are spewing bullshit without evidence? Who would of thought?

Nah, he's right. Everyone in the real working world knows this.

There's a reason why US pay-for-service colleges routinely out perform higher education colleges from around the world.

There's a reason why the private colleges routinely out perform the public university schools.

There's a reason why private k-12 schools out perform free public schools.
"Routinely out perform" On what scale? Mind giving evidence?
Yeah, "pay for service" so only cater to those who can afford it, fuck the rest.

Looking to Escape the High Cost of College These 7 Countries Will Educate You for Free Alternet

Here is a list of countries with Free College level education.

Brazil, France, Norway, Germany, Finland, Slovenia, and Sweden.

Seven countries that I've found. Out the schools from those countries.........

World Reputation Rankings 2015 results - Times Higher Education

World ranking of higher education schools.

Notice the first one, Harvard. A 100% private, pay-for-service school.

Out of the top 50 schools in the world... how many are from 'free-college' countries? Only FOUR. Three from Germany, and one from Sweden. The top one being 35th on the list.

Now how many are from the US? 26. More than half. 8 of the top 10 are US schools.

Now how many of those are private universities? 8 of the top 10, are private universities. Not public.

Do you need more evidence, or is this clear enough?

Yes, only those that can afford it. If Thomas Sowell, from a broken family, with no money, can work his way through Harvard... anyone can if they really want to.

Besides that, we have dozens of heavily funded public colleges. If it were possible to have a publicly funded college achieve the level of education that Harvard can.... then how about you people on the left, shut up.... and do it. But we've played it your way, sinking hundreds of billions into higher education for decades now, and you have failed over and over and over.

Why should people who are willing to work, and pay, for a better education, be penalized simply because your system sucks?

Off your meds, angry white man? Any examples or just blind ranting? lol. Tolerance, education, good pay, and affordable health care is hardly that bs...see sig for ruin of nonrich and country that 30 years of Reaganism has given us.

You promote the enslavement of your fellow man - whether you have the intellect to grasp it or not.

You're just another Marxist moron who lacks the education and intellect to grasp what you advocate.

Isn't that what the progs have been whining about? The money would go for freaking jobs. How much would universities be impacted by the cuts? The progs ain't talking about it.

So then what country without unions has a strong middle class?

What country with socialism has a middle class at all?
What the hell are you defining as socialism? North korea is not socialist, they're a theocratic totalitarian state, cuba has some elements of cooperative democratic control of production, same with venezuela, but it's hardly noticeable, the USSR went to state capitalism with Stalin, not socialism, if we get to use such hogwash, I will proudly say Somalia is a prime example of no taxes and no regulations on capitalists. Oh wait, it is... See, the thing with your bullshit is, the majority of the cuban population supported the castro's, and after the castro's took power, life expectancy increased, healthcare increased, infant mortality went down, housing went up for people, as did food intake, extreme poverty was reduced.. Same case in venezuela, and I don't even support these countries, BUT I'M NOT A LIAR. So, by what measure are you looking at this from?

Time and time again, it is shown that sports stadiums do not give back to the communities in a substantial way, fuck, even the cato institute and many republicans realize he's a moron, which says something.

When I see any of you people work a fraction as hard as I've seen the wealthy, I might consider what you say to be worth my time.

They did this with considerable pressure from external forces, and mandatory minimum wage laws ;)

Comrade, Walmart just voluntarily raised wages across the board, why did they do this?

Just in case you're planning to be a good socialist and lie;

{Walmart recently announced that it was raising its minimum starting wage to $9 an hour, 24% higher than the federal minimum. Since Walmart is famous for its ruthless cost management, this appeared, on its face, to be a significant sign of a tightening labor market.}

Yeah yeah, we've heard this crap before. "Everyone whose system isn't working.... can't be socialist, even if they say openly they are socialist."

Every time someone proclaims a socialist view, you people initially support them. Then when their system fails, you claim "that's not socialist!".

Grow up.

Walmart raised the wage to a laughable amount, at a funny time to, when wage protests are heating up, when stories about walmart employees and there reliance on welfare are coming out... Are you seriously supporting walmart?

*crickets* Morons want to crush workers under the boot. That's right wing ideology for you. Socialism is feudalism rebranded? HOW THE HELL IS DEMOCRATIC CONTROL OF PRODUCTION FEUDALISM?

Retard.
What the hell does posting a random picture with no context have anything to do with actual facts? Here, I could do the same thing, this is capitalist haiti:
But, of course, you'll claim haiti isn't capitalist, or "crony capitalism" as your side likes to call things. If you get to pull that bullshit, as an actual socialist, I get to see what actual socialism is, as I've given examples of, and maybe you morons should read my post.

Are you playing stupid, or actually are? The reputation was based on two thinks... teaching and research. Would you claim that research done by the school isn't important... or that teaching isn't? Which idiotic claim would you like to support?

I didn't know I needed to "support" them. They're a private company. It's not like they're on a ballot somewhere. My interactions with Walmart are whether or not they have a price I want to pay on an item I want to buy. Their interactions with their workers are their business, until such time as they impact the interaction with me.

When I see any of you people work a fraction as hard as I've seen the wealthy, I might consider what you say to be worth my time.

Don't fall into the trap of the labor theory of value. It is a logical fallacy.
How is the labor theory of value a logical fallacy? If you want to begin discussion On Marxist thought, be my guest, but you need to have an actual brain and have read his works first.

You have to ask yourself how they keep the prices so low... much like other companies, they love exploiting third world labor, paying workers cheaply, and then coming out with a laughable wage increase to make themselves seem like the good guys.
