Which candidate will put more money into the Middle Class?

Global trade is going to happen whether we are involved or not. We can either be a major player in negotiating our stake in it or we can bury our heads and work with what's left.

This isn't 1950 anymore when the bulk of industrialized nations were decimated and America was the big boy on the block calling the shots throughout the world. There are more players now than ever which means our share in that market will naturally decrease.

Jeb Bush is that you? There you have it ladies and gentlemen ^^^ just bend over and take it up the ass.

What do you propose junior?
Bomb the industrialized world back to where we are once again dominant?

You people allowed globalism to destroy General Motors...oh wait you didn't :eusa_think:

How do you prevent globalism professor?
By force? Should we have occupied Japan, China and Europe in order to maintain our market share?

Why even discuss it with you, its clear you have already given up. Why don't you tell us how we can go on borrowing $20 trillion dollars forever that should be interesting.

Trump's economic plan assuredly increases the deficits.

I think you're omitting bringing jobs back.

That's a wish not a fact.
It's a fact; and not so hard to do.

What's a fact?
Drink some coffee.
Bringing business back is as difficult as it was for them to leave; not difficult at all.

Protests put fear in the politicians. But you go ahead and give up, roll over and die.
Look, Im trying to help you...go to youtube and watch some of Chris Hedges or elizibeth warren or ralph nader... any of them.

I didn't say protests aren't effective I said they don't change the fact that steel can be made more cheaply and then sold to the world more cheaply in China then we can here.

I'm not doing your work for you. If you have a point to make, make it. Pick your top five things you would change about trade and show it's benefits. I'm simply pointing out the realities of global trade not endorsing current policy.

All we have to do is reinstate the tariff.

Thank you, I agree to a point. We definitely should be tougher.Tariffs will only take us part way though. You aren't going to be able to make up 100% of the deficit with tariffs alone.

How so?

By cutting taxes, increasing defense spending, coupled with no substantive plans to cut government spending anywhere else.

Don't be an asshole. Either make a coherent argument, or shut up and take your defeat like a man,

or whatever passes for a man in your country.

Does he?
It sounds like he's co-opted some liberal ideas.

Mr. Trump has embraced calls for more infrastructure spending while promising to refrain from big changes to popular benefit programs such as Social Security and Medicare, which account for a rising share of public spending and, as such, have been a ripe target of conservatives for decades.

What policy are you referring to? The link I gave was his jobs proposal.

The math has been done, trumps tax plan will put more money into everyone pockets, and a fairly significant amount.

possibly enough to jump the economy.

hillary is promising some pocket change.

Explain how a $15.00/hr minimum wage is 'pocket change?'

The disappearing middle class did not all slide down, a significant number moved up but no one replaced them. Presidential candidates like to talk about creating jobs but the best they can actually do is create enough stability that consumers feel confident enough to buy durable goods. Trump's talk of trade wars, mass deportations, war and generally chaotic attitude does not seem like it would make for a stable country.
As if Hillary's endless middle east meandering is any different lol

When you get 15 per hour for flipping a burger, expect that burger to cost you 13 bucks. Leaving you with 2 dollars, aka chump change

Neither candidate. Let me explain.

Liberals would expand government institutions which create more government jobs, which are usually what I would consider middle class.

Conservatives would not do this, which means the free market would expand in the governments place if the oppurtunity void is secure long enough.

Government cannot create jobs. Only take jobs that would be created by the free market.

Both candidates are liberal by the way.

Except there never has been and never will be a free market, AND the government is responsible for the creation of every job.

Trump is liberal? LOL!!!!!

Except a number one meal at McDonalds nets the franchisee $7.00. Raising the Minimum to $15.00/hr would cost said franchisee $0.50, for a net on a number one meal of $6.50.
