It's the same nonsense as the delusion-driven fantasy of sex identification. You cannot become in reality something you are not biologically born to be.

Where I once worked in my youth a mexican girl once told me that they won't hire her because she is not white. I then looked around and realized that 80% of the employees were already mexican. True Story.
