Correct. If he no longer has the power to enforce his prejudice then he cant be a racist anymore.Thinking about race doesnt make you a racist dumbass. Imposing or advocating a system to hold back someone based on race is what a racist is.Asclepias I know so...it's ALL they think about...eat /shit/sleep/dream/etc RACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..it's in the news everyday /etc
and if that was true, you could take the worst WHITE racist offender... relocate him to Singapore where all his neighbors were all asian... not a white person around for miles, and then magically he would no longer be a racist right? because he can no longer impose his power?
No I don't think so. In his heart he would still be a racist... you can call it a bigot but its all the same thing. A racist is a bigot who is obsessed with people's race.. racial superiority, inferiority etc...
Wow, well there I have to disagree. To me he is still a racist. Even a racist person without the ability to impose or enact racism IS still the same person. He could still do something racist in a small way even if he was the only white person around for miles.
At some point in his life he could perhaps have a change of heart... look back on his ways and then decide he has been living life wrongly and start to see other people around him differently.
If that was to happen perhaps and he then moved back to the U.S., would he then instantly become racist just because he joined a white majority?
I think its about the person, or specific people and not group identity.
