Trump told N. Korea that he was going to stop military drills with S. Korea, and that he was going to lift sanctions. That is what Un took back to his country. The US would stop military drills and lift sanctions.

Trump signed the same deal with Un that N. Korea has signed with other US presidents and the same deal that S. Korea signed with them just a couple of weeks ago. So, Un gave up nothing.

And, Un also got a lot of video that he can use as propaganda for his people to show that he's reached the level of world leader that he can get the US to come to the table.

Still think Trump is a great deal maker?

Note to the clueless, a temporary suspension of war games just gives Un a little political breathing room at home. That decision can be reversed with a single phone call, if Un starts backing out of his commitments. After all all the plans are in place for the games, an order to execute is all that's required.
