If you take a stand-up comedian... Kathleen Madigan, Ron White, and Bill Engvall are probably the funniest people I've seen in person. Katt Williams is in that group although I've never seen him live. Listening to him talking about the bridges in Jacksonville...side splittingly funny.
However as far as funniest people--actors reading the writings of others--few have made me laugh harder or more consistently than Morey Amsterdam from the old Dick Van Dyke show back when I was growing up.
