You missed the point of my posts. It is Christians like Martin Ssempa who show gay porn in churches. It is bigots like Wicked Jester who troll u tube looking for sexualized imagery of gay people. The goal of both Ssempa and WJ is to whip up a feeling of hatred for gays.

I've watched about half of it now, and I don't see the problem. I saw two kids watching the people in costume. No biggie. No nudity. Shirtless men in swim trunks and people in costumes.

Clearly, you don't understand what a Gay Pride Parade is about. Gays and lesbians are sexualized by straight culture and they parody that in the parade.

OK, I just saw a couple of things that I found offensive and that was a fat man with clips on his tits and a man wearing a swimsuit with a very prominent erection shaking it with his hips.

That is inappropriate for children. That part of the parade was as offensive to me as it is to you.

Maybe I'm just catching the "tail end" ? ha ha

In general, it sounds as ironic as media footage of "anti-war" peace protestors
turning violent!

You won't see as much publicity of peace advocates
"actively mediating between warring factions" to show the REAL peacemaking
work being done behind the scenes.

It incites more response and ratings to show the opposite.

To show peace protestors who look like total hypocrites.

I expect the most ridiculous, outlandish or offfensive footage of the Gay Pride Parades
would also be more visibly "touted" than any of the real healing work behind the scenes,
where people who can get as politically divided as any other groups (as with the gay, lesbian, and bi/transgender communities) can actually put aside differences and put on a fun event where they can release some of the stress that comes with social struggles.

People struggle for different reasons, and I sympathize with that difficult process of reform and recovery all the same, even where I disagree on issues.

I don't agree with flaunting whatever, but I do want people to heal of their pain and grief in constructive ways; so if this helps them to do that, I appreciate that freedom with the appropriate audiences where it is not abused as complained of here. And no, I can't think of anyone who approves of manipulating or exploiting young boys and girls sexually, so if any of these activities sends the wrong message, I agree that should be corrected!

After all these issues have been suppressed for so long, it only makes sense for people to need to express it openly, get it completely out of the closet and out from the shackles of blame and shame, before more progress can be made on addressing the real causes of "relationship abuse" that everyone has equal concerns about across the board.

Let's get on equal ground first, and then we can work out the real issues affectins us all.
