Whom currently in politics do you consider honorable?

What I see on this board is two extremes that either want globalism, free money and to bash men all day or to take us back to the period pre-constitution with the states having all the power.

How about the middle ground with someone that wants America to remain a great power? Someone with vision...A Kennedy, Reagan, etc. None of you extreme conservatives would vote for Reagan today as he supported investing in our country and thought up the space station freedom(aka, international space station). None of you people care about sanity or the future of this country as a great power.

Obama has a few good ideas in general like a American first policy and the reality that we must invest within our own country. I am not saying he hasn't fucked up royalty in doing so but we need someone that can.
LOL. No conservative would vote for Reagan today? And you are going to tell us about the extreme people here? How ironic.

Your addiction to other people's money has clouded your judgement, investing doesn't mean spending spending spending and more spending. Reagan's policies brought in more money, we didn't just spend our way to prosperity. I'm sorry we don't have a cold war to fatten your wallet but you know nothing about conservatives since it all comes down to borrowed money for you. You want to go to Mars, is that it?

Rand Paul

I don't necessarily agree with him 100% of the time, but he's honorable nonetheless.

politics -honorable Two word that do not go together.
There are no honorable politicians, some are less corrupt than others.

Honorable Politician = Oxymoron

I like Paul Ryan. I like my senator too, Ron Johnson. And Scott Walker. Wisconsin has some good public servants.

And I am impressed by Marco Rubio.

I don't know much about Rand Paul but I've noticed a few things recently which impressed me and made me want to pay more attention.

Democrats hate Rand Paul because he doesn't just want to talk about smaller government. Same reason the Republican establishment hates him...

Exactly! He's a solution-oriented leader and both sides truly DO hate that. Both Parties are beholden to a "higher power" and it ain't God.

And then our second response is to actually look into it, and when we do, we realize it's just another bullshit false outragy story concocted by Republicans to pretend like Obama is evil or something.
No, just a lying opportunist. And you clearly don't understand the right's problem with Bengazi. After all this time.
But he's not. He's an honorable politician. And he's a refreshing President for a change.
Do you have a prayer mat pointed towards DC?
Even though he's entered his 6th year in office, he says things that are true and well articulated. He listens, he compromises, he deals fairly, he's fucking remarkable as all get out on the world stage, always working every line, always msg'ing with other leaders, so good at quietly getting the world totally on his side in such unprecedented ways, like how he got everybody else to pay for the no-fly-zone and other business over Libya.

Obama is good at making other countries realize that it's more in their own interests to be involved in a concerted effort on things, like Libya, Syria, Iran, Egypt and now Russia.
He fucked all those up so you must be sniffing glue between prayers and chants. I couldn't read anymore of your tripe, sorry.

If the man runs I'm not just voting for him, I'm working for him.

There has been "class warfare" since the beginning of recorded history. Cain killed Abel over their status in life. It's in man's DNA. The lower classes are simply jealous of the upper classes but would happily trade places if they could. Liberalism is simply the application of the "trading-places" mentality.

Rush Holt and Bernie Sanders.
Chuck Hagel and John Huntsman.
Al Franken and Sherrod Brown.
John McCain and John Kerry.
Cory Booker and Diane Feinstein.

None of them are spotless but each of them seems to have a core integrity that meets the criteria of "honorable".

I excluded the current front runners for POTUS since that is a wide open field but if I had to choose I would go with Rand Paul who seems to be genuine and Hilary because she too genuinely cares. Yes, both have their negatives but politics is dirty and it is impossible to avoid the mud. However the question was if I think that they are honorable and I can honestly answer yes, I do.

I wish I could still say the same for Christie but right now that remains to be determined. Way too much dirt flying around and no one knows where it is going to end up. This is a pity because he had all the attributes of a great candidate for 2016.

That doesn't rule out Bernie Sanders as an honorable man.

Also, "socialist" is no longer a bad word to a large portion of America.

... unless they're in a race-hustling mood and want to accuse people of using it as a racial code word.

There's no honor in taking wealth away from people that earned it. He's a scumbag. And that large portion you're talking about is mostly youths and have beed educated by liberals.

Yes, if they earned it honestly, but too many have used government to gain their wealth improperly.
