Anyone who has been there knows that jobs are neither plentiful nor well paid. Try to make a living with the Mexican minimum wage of $4 per day and then you'll understand why so many are fleeing the country.

1. 'Foreign Aid' Wall Fund:
The United States doles out millions to Mexico every year in the form of 'foreign aid'. Simply do not pay Mexico a dime in foreign aid, using the money instead to fund the building the wall. Technically US Tax payers would still be paying for it, but we would be using tax dollars Mexico was going to get.

2. Freeze and Seize:
Mexico has billions in assets in the US. Freeze their bank accounts and use their own funds in these accounts to ay for the construction of a wall, monitoring systems, and other additional security measures. Once the project is complete release Mexico's assets back to them.
- I would also cut checks from those same Mexican Bank accounts to the families of those American citizens murdered / killed by illegals in this country.

Again, we have no problem making it happen other than the political will to do so.

1) And once the wall is nice and done, people will start crossing by the sea... just as refugees do in Europe.
2) Half of the illegals arive by plane, tighter screenings might do the job, but Trump is a construction guy, so I guess a big wall goes more with his usual line of business.

Honestly I think that money ends in the pockets of corrupt politicians and no harm whatsoever will come to pass to mexicans by the aforementioned action ( cutting the aid).

A wall doesn't really solve any problem, it will just change the route through which illegals cross the border ( air or sea ) .

The IRS admitted they KNOW illegals are using stolen identities - stolen SS#s - to get jobs here in the states. Mandatory E-Verify would greatly reduce illegals getting jobs here, reducing the 'demand' for illegals. It would not be hard to ID illegals trying to get jobs and would not be hard to hammer the living shite out of companies who do hire illegals, making it far LESS profitable to hire them than not.

If there are no jobs, illegals will not come.
If there is no welfare, food stamps, Obamaphones, medical care, housing, driver's licenses, etc they will not come.
If we had a government that would enforce the law - all of them, who would stop making rules / laws for illegals that are separate than those Americans are held to, if illegal criminals were treated as such, it would greatly reduce illegal immigration.

If you cut off all funding to the Mexican government which has been proven to be helping - not stopping - the illegal immigration to this country it would greatly help reduce illegal immigration.

You can go on and on. The fact is there is no SERIOUS effort being put forth to stop illegal immigration. That is because there is a lack of will to do so.
