Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee will attend Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s rival event to Thursday night’s Fox News debate, and ex-Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) said he is also open to attending.

Again, you're referring to Primary voters. The candidates that GOP Primary voters like are not palatable to the General electorate.

Since that's what is coming up first, that's what really matters as of now. When people start dropping out of the race, those that would have voted for them will go elsewhere and it may or may not change things. You speculate. I deal with reality.

I seriously doubt someone that would vote for one of the Republicans would vote for Hillary if the person they like doesn't win the Republican primary and vice versa if Sanders happens to win.
