The bold area was my point, the guy was overtly waging war against the US, he deserved what he got and there was no question as to his activities.

Al-Awlaki was making recruitment videos constantly; trying to ramp up his attacks on American soil. He had to be taken out expeditiously.

This may come as a shock to you. Nazi Germany and the Japanese created some pretty proficient "terrorists". The prison camp Nazi's were particularly bad terrorists.

And even they had the rule of law applied to them.

But American citizens that FDR threw into concentration camps didn't get the same consideration. Coincidence that he is one of obama's heroes?
