Why it's important to keep a Republican out of the White House

And now the democrats use NASA to promote the myth of man made global warming...and to promote muslim good feelings....so who is really anti science.......

Get back in power and make a real mission for it. How about to mars in 10 years?
Good plan, when we can afford it.
When Kennedy challenged us to send a man to the moon within a decade, the deficit was -.6% of GDP, now, it's 6.8%. Our debt was 1/2 GDP now it's 100%. We simply can't afford to feed the welfare state and fund a voyage to Mars.

You do know the debt was created thanks to "starve the beast": policies of Ronnie/Dubya right?

Blowing up spending WHILE gutting revenues!

CBO: Bush Tax Cuts Responsible For Almost A Third Of Deficit In Last 10 Years (2001-2010)

Obama decreased the deficit:

Oct 15, 2014 - As tax revenues increased and spending cuts took effect, the deficit dropped to 2.8 percent of GDP

In 2014 U.S. Budget Deficit Falls To Pre-Recession Level The Two-Way NPR
Tax cuts do not create deficits
Spending money you don't have leads to deficits.
122% of the US federal debt has been the result of LBJ's war on poverty.

UNLESS you cut spending, instead of blowing it up like Ronnie/Dubya did, tax cuts create debt!!!

122%? lol, conservative "math"? lol

They'll cut it on infrastructure, science, r&d and anything that helps Americans here in America. They won't stop blowing shit up and won't do shit to slow the increase in health care debt. As I pointed out in another thread.

You really think George Soros can compete with the fortune of Adelson? Especially when combined with Koch's, not to mention Muslim money.
I hear there's a lot of Muslim money going to hillary right now. And Soros' bucks, combined with 99% of labor's money, more than offsets Adelson.

Since McCain Feingold the Democrats have been raising more money than the GOP every election cycle. Citizens United closed the gap a bit, but Democrats still raised more in the last 2 cycles.

If the GOP would have stuck up for the middle class and lower class then they. Would be in the white house. Why do they have such a disdain for those that work hard just to barely make ends meet? Why don't they want to make those peoples' live ALOT easier? Why is it bad that everyone should have access to health insurance? Why is SS bared? Why is Medicare bad? Those are two programs the working class needs when they age. Instead of offering better ideas they say "no" and that's it. Anything for the corporations and rich. Until they change their MO they are going to have to battle every election.
There is no disdain for people who work hard. We hope you succeed. We WANT you to become taxpayers and customers. We'd love fro you to share the burdens of being a citizen as well as the benefits.
Every one SHOULD have access to health insurance, just like they have access to automobiles, bananas and firearms.
BUT
If you want me to subsidize your health care, buy me a gun, OK?

We collect Social Security and use Medicare when we hit 65 too. We all paid in and expect to receive the benefit. No one wants to eliminate it. I would, however like to see its solvency guaranteed by some improvements.

Right now, our "better ideas" have zero chance of a Presidential signature so the best we can offer is a promise to stop the bleeding and just say no to the obama agenda.

Nice to know you like socialist social security brought to you by democrats. Now name something other than god, guns, and gays, that the republicans offer. They are the most corrupt of all by the way. Grant, Harding, Nixon, Reagan, McCain of the keating 5 for example.

Please...your current democrat President has terrorists and convicted criminals for personal freinds and sent guns to Mexican drug cartels.........

and hilary.....you have got to be kidding.....look up corrupt, incompetent politician....and her picture is there in 3D

Opinions opinions. No indictment or convictions unlike the republicans I quoted. Well, McCain had a censure for his part in helping people lose their retirements. Republicans in the Senate decided this was a small act of faulty judgement. What's this, my president? He's not yours? You from another country?

The Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan Washington group whose job is to track political spending, estimates that candidates, parties, committees, outside groups and donors will spend at least $3.67 billion on the 2014 midterm elections, $40 million more than what was spent in 2010.

According to the center, "Team Red," code for Republican-aligned groups, will have spent about $1.75 billion across the country by the time all the bills are paid. "Team Blue," Democratic-aligned groups, will spend $110 million less, about $1.64 billion.

The remainder of the money comes from groups that wouldn’t fit into one box or the other.

Right NOT dark money. Weird

Our joint analysis with the Washington Post of the Koch brothers’ labyrinthine network of political groups — none of which reveal the names of their donors — showed that the coalition raised more than $400 million during the 2012 election. As OpenSecrets Blog has previously reported, the network includes both tax-exempt groups and limited liability companies that are, in effect, subsidiaries of the tax-exempt corporations but go by different names, helping to mask how money moves around within the system.

Yeah, I read that too AND browsed their site. They are as non partisan as Mother Jones.

Got it, you don't like factual info and prefer the right wing infotainment complex. Shocking

You wouldn't know a fact if it bit you in the ass.

There's money coming from all kinds of places and some comes from US corporations and goes to the GOP and some comes from foreign countries, felons and terrorists and goes to hillary.

The number one reason: Supreme Court Justice appointments. Republican appointed Justices have bought us Citizens United. That's basically had the effect of selling off our government to the highest bidder. Unhappy with your candidate? You can thank unlimited pac money. Bought to you by you Republican appointed justices.

If we keep Republicans out of office, our plans to enslave the American people can move along without a hitch.....er......I didn't send this out did I.......oh.....yeah...hah hah....just joking........we democrats....yeah....freedom.....puppies.....you know...er.......we don't really want to enslave all Americans....hah hah....that was just a joke..............

You really do believe all that shit don't you?

So we should keep republicans out of the white house because they will appoint supreme court justices that will uphold the first amendment?

I'm not afraid of political speech as much as you are I guess.

I love how conservatives will equate a 'labor union' with a 'corporation', as if they're the exact same thing.

They are. Essentially speaking.

They are, in the sense that they are units that protect the interests of specific people. It's just interesting to me how anyone could be so fundamentally against labor unions, which supports middle-lower class workers, and yet fight for corporate interests, which supports the few at the top (not speaking about you specifically, TK). If they are the same thing, it makes zero sense.

I mean, Scott Walker, who is a pretty typical conservative Republican, feels that the best strategy to handle unions is to, I believe his words were, "divide and conquer".
The typical Republican can say that, but the moment a Democrat says that income inequality is an issue, they're a socialist that pushes 'class warfare'. The logic is nonexistent.

If they are essentially the same thing, why are conservatives so against the middle class version and in such full support of the rich man's version? It makes so little sense to me, unless 'unbridled greed' is the answer.

It just makes them all look like such assholes. Regardless of the Democrats' shortcomings, it's hard to see a reason not to vote for them when the only other viable option is literally running on the platform that systems that help middle-lower class workers are unAmerican, and that the rich man's equivalent should be less restricted and free.

If true moderate Republicans still existed, the country would be a safer place for all. If the party were still the party of TRoosevelt and Lincoln, I'd be a registered 'R' voter by the end of the day.
