It's not really surprising that this happened in South Carolina. Mark Sanford was 'hiking the Appalachian Trail" and it did not set the state on its ear. They think flying the Confederate battle flag over the state capitol is a symbol of freedom. The students at the largest university there attend "Cock Fest".

Electronic voting must be easily hacked in such an enlightened place.

I don't know of anybody who voted for Greene, but I've never asked anyone either. Rawl wasn't embroiled in any kind of scandal. It's just one of those strange things that happen once in a while.

South Carolina Democrats keep voting James Clyburn into office. If that doesn't damn the entire SC Dem party for eternity, nothing will. Clyburn may be the most worthless, corrupt politician in the South. Look at the district he represents. The "Corridor of Shame" they call it, rural areas along I-95. What has he done for them? NOTHING. He recently has helped South Carolina State University get a federal fraud investigation started because of the James Clyburn Transportation Research Center, which has embezzled millions of dollars, and that center is apparantly constructed of invisible bricks and offices on top of an open field of weeds, rocks and an old run down trailor..........but they spent the millions on the center, Clyburn and SCSU promises!!!!!

If SC Dems will keep voting for Clyburn, the voting for Al Green.......soon to be TWICE....is no suprise.

And to think, these poor rural SC people need to vote for the representative that will do the most good for them, bring them the most help, and when faced with Jim DeMint vs Al Green........they'll vote Al Green, again, just so they can stick to their Democrat allegiances. So sad.

I added plenty.

Democrats who cared enough about an election to vote in a primary showed up at the polls. CASUAL voters don't vote in primary races. Thats political common sense. Most primary voters are the more informed kind.

And the more informed Democrats showed up, and either voted for a guy who never left his house to campaign......or voted for a guy because they too believe a line of Al Green action figures will boost the economy, and they too feel Al Green is correct that only terrorists and communists get high ranks in the military (Today, Al Green quote, charleston.net).

So, either way, I'd say any psych professor in the country would be interested in a field study of mental disorder on that population of Democrat voters.

In a performance report two years later, Greene received adequate marks for performing tasks assigned to him, complying with standards and training requirements. But Greene's reviewer marked him as an ineffective leader who lacked organization and was "unable to express thoughts clearly."

Greene is "usually capable of handling mundane tasks with supervision" but is "not able to adapt to any changes to daily routine," the reviewer wrote, also noting that Greene had received multiple disciplinary actions for failing to perform his duties.

Greene was also written up for posting sensitive information on a military Internet server, a mistake that resulted in a three-day work stoppage. Records showed Greene was kept at Shaw while the rest of his unit deployed after leadership "recognized his inability to contribute to the wartime mission."


A year later, Greene was evaluated again, this time in his new job as an analyst working with the weapons of mass destruction section. But Greene's job had little to do with intelligence analysis and more to do with shredding documents and escorting contractors around the base.

Again receiving low marks for ineffective leadership, Greene also was rated as not knowing much about his duties or performing them effectively and not complying with minimum training requirements.

The reviewer also wrote Greene "required a daily to-do list" to perform basic duties and had a "consistent inability to follow instructions or maintain basic job knowledge." Most seriously, the reviewer wrote that Greene would represent "a threat to others" because of his inability to grasp the basics of military training.
