Will the president who flagrantly ignored NATO officials feign surprise?

Nice job Obungles, nice job. Putin views Obama with contempt and disdain and has no fear of him

More war in store for Ukraine as Russian tanks pour over the border

The war between Russia and Ukraine for control of the eastern portion of that nation never stopped, but a brief lull in the fighting prompted by the onset of winter and coinciding with a ceasefire arrangement signed by all combatants in Minsk gave the illusion that the conflict had largely been settled.

Maybe that pause in the intensity of that war led Barack Obama to conclude that it was acceptable to conspicuously blow off NATO officials even while Moscow again prepared to press its interests in Ukraine. Obama has reversed this course and will reportedly meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in May, but the war in Europe may be again in full swing when the president gets around
to taking renewed interest in it.

Obama is getting his red pencil out...according to your map he may be able to draw the line so half of Ukrraine will be left for the Ukrainians. Surely that is the best we can do...

Damn, Russia has the hardest time winning against a weak enemy without US aid...

Same story in Tikrit...it's the obama doctrine at work...confound them with weakness.

I love how anytime another nation decides to do something, it somehow becomes Obama's fault.

Seriously, just because he doesn't ram his head up the anal cavities of every foreign nation with the vigor of a Bush/Cheney double team, doesn't mean it's his fault.

He is the leader of the free world....hahahaha!

Putin knows Obama will do nothing. Putin is no fool

Why should Obama do something.

Let's review for those playing along at home. The Ukraine had a fair and free election, and a candidate won. That candidate then proceeded to get a really pretty good trade deal with Russia instead of the European Union. The European Union instead instigated factions not in the government to topple the legitimately elected president.

At that point, Ethnic Russians in the Ukraine, seeing that democracy didn't do them any good, decided they would rather be part of Russia than the Ukraine. If we put it to a province by province vote, like was done in the Crimea, the map would change radically.

Why is this our problem?

Obama will have to wait for the local News report before he knows what is going on in the Ukraine.

Because if we're not pile driving into everyone's business every waking moment, the neocons start to soil themselves.

And nobody wants to clean that.

It is Obama's fault we did not have troops in Iraq to help them, he chose to blow of the SOFA dealings.

except we didn't want to keep troops there and the Iraqis didn't want us around.

You know, those little details.
