*First off I'm not a sock puppet*

I'm a 40 year old living in southern Ky. I grew up in southern Ohio but moved to Kentucky in 2008. I've worked as a Corrections Officer and as part of the SRT team there. Which is basically a prison SWAT team. I signed up for the Marines and went to Parris Island but ended up getting discharged because of medical reasons. I've worked retail for several different companies as everything as a sales associate, assistant manager, manager, and district manager. I used to gamble a lot, mostly black jack and betting on games. The most I ever won on a bet was a 4 team parlay that I won $4,500. I've gone to 4 different colleges including The Ohio State University, Sinclair Community College, Miami University of Ohio, and now Eastern Kentucky University. I was originally a Journalism Major, then Corrections, and finally Criminal Justice with a Minor in Police Sciences. I'll graduate next May.

I love sports, I'm a Reds fan, Bengals fan, former Pistons fan of the Bad Boys ear, Former Red Wings fan of the Yzerman era, and I follow all Notre Dame sports. I used to play a lot of sports but can't as much now due to a back injury. I used to be a scratch golfer, but unfortunately have never made a hole in one. I enjoy writing, I have a poem published, and I have won some flash fiction contests. I play some XBox One games, I surf the net a lot, and follow a few online forums for fun. I'm a huge animal lover and at one point or another in my life have owned all different kinds of animals.

I grew up as a Republican. I always looked up to Reagan, as a child of the 80's. I have always hated the Clintons from as far back as when Bill was in office. I truly believe he should have been removed from office for his actions. I supported Both Bushs. Eventually however I started to part with the Republican party because I saw too much negativity coming from them, especially the hypocrisy of being God loving people, but disliking gays and people of other religions. That's why I have become an Independent. I share values and beliefs that fall under the umbrella of both parties. I'm for the death penalty. I have seen firsthand there are some people that just cannot be rehabilitated and they serve no purpose to society. I'm Pro-life, except under certain circumstances like rape, incest, and if the mother's life is in danger. I'm for free public college education. I think Common core is a dumb concept. I'm for a strong military but I think the U.S. spends way too much compared to the rest of the world. I do think NATO or the UN should be paying the U.S. money if the U.S. is going to contribute more than other countries. I think we need to lower the number of immigrants we allow into our country. We already have a high unemployment rate and plenty of people that need help that we don't need to be bringing more people in. I'm for a strong border, but I think the Great Trump Wall is a stupid idea. I'm for deporting the illegal immigrants that are criminals, but at this point, I think we should give amnesty to the rest, and start fresh. I think it would be a waste of money to create a huge deportation unit, put all these illegal immigrants in a detention facility, and pay to send them back. Just hit the reset button on immigration and create a new starting point. I'm Pro-guns. I don't think government should be taking away our guns. Guns save more lives than they take. If you want to make things better, make stronger consequences for those caught illegally carrying and using a gun. I'm for a strong federal government, that holds precedence over the states. I'm for higher taxes on the rich. I think Medicare should be left alone. Same goes for Social Security, and in fact the government shouldn't be allowed to borrow money out of it. I am tired of career politicians and I think they should have term limits like the President. I believe in Global Warming, and I think we need to continue to work on renewable resources. I think burning the flag should be a felony, and I think everyone should stand for the National Anthem. I also think they need to bring back saying the Pledge of Allegiance to schools. Lastly, I'm agnostic.

Now if there is something I didn't cover that you want to know just ask!

Yes, because I am tired of people assuming things about me, so this way people will know up front what I stand for. I didn't vote for Hillary just because I don't like Trump... and I didn't vote for Trump just because I think Hillary should be in jail. I'm not a Liberal just because I don't like Trump... I don't think we should have open borders, just because I oppose Trump's wall idea... it just gets old listening to people try to put words in my mouth.

Now that the Cubs have killed the goat, when are the Indians gonna win a World Series?

Well the Cavs won one... question is, when will the Bengals win a playoff game?

The funny thing is... when I very first started posting, I was accused of being a TNHarley sock puppet, and he was the first one to post in this thread asking why I waited so long to make an introduction thread. :wtf:

Yeah, you sound like a Democrat. What do you consider yourself?

Democrats aren't Pro-gun, aren't Pro-Life, and among many things.
And Republicans aren't pro-amnesty, medicare, or pro social security. They also don't buy into the Global Warming myth. What's your stance on abortion? What do you consider yourself? Who did you vote for? Are you for the legalization of any drugs, and if so, which ones? Do you support gay marriage?

Well I said I was Pro-life. I only believe i abortion for incest, rape, or if the mother's life is in danger. I didn't vote for anyone, because I didn't think any of the candidates were worthy of being President. I didn't believe in the idea of voting for the lesser of two evils. Stein has no experience, Johnson is too dumb (I mean seriously someone running for President that doesn't know who Harriet Tubman is?), Hillary should be in jail, and Trump has no experience, is unstable, and is only rich because his father put him into a position to succeed. I don't use drugs, but I think Marijuana should be legal. I actually don't think there should be gay "marriage." I think gay couples should be allowed civil unions, but those civil unions give them all the same rights as gay marriage. I just think there is a tradition to the concept of marriage that it should continue to be between a man and a woman. So it's really just semantics.

So what do I consider myself? Well until there is a party that reflects all my beliefs, I have to just say I'm an Independent.

The only thing we need to fix with you is the global warming hoax you fell for.

Other than that I'd say you're a reasonable fellow.

Sorry I thought you were a moonbat.

Getting a bit ahead of yourself. The Socialists were only against Hillary, they're not coming from the right.

Socialist? Oh lord... it was brought up in another thread, so many people don't understand what that really means.
