Let me ask a question...

Is there room in the discussion regarding this particular condolence call to allow for prejudice? Not racial, but a prejudice based in a dislike for President Trump. Obviously none of us know where the political sentiments of the wife in question lay, but she was in a car with Frederica Wilson and we do know where her political sentiments lay.

My point is this: the words he used were not disrespectful in and of themselves. He has used similar words to express his condolences in the past as is evidenced by the recording released by another widow, anecdotes told by other families indicate the similar wording was used by Trump. We can agree, most likely, that the man has a difficult sounding sincere when he speaks, often times sounding more like a used car salesman that a president. Couple that with a woman, women, and/or family who probably didn't like President Trump before he called and I think you have the perfect recipe for what we're seeing now.
