Report: In a 'humiliating' and 'threatening' tone, Trump lambasted Mexico's president during phone call

During a phone call with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto on Friday, President Donald Trump reportedly disparaged Mexico and threatened to use military force against the drug trade, according to Washington, DC-based journalist Dolia Estevez.

In an interview with Mexican news outlet Aristegui Noticias, Estevez, who cited sources on both sides of the call, said "it was a very offensive conversation where Trump humiliated Peña Nieto."

Estevez said that while both the White House and the Mexican president released information about the call, both sides characterized it as a "friendly" conversation and neither revealed what was said.

Estevez said she "obtained confidential information" corroborating the content of the discussion.

"I don't need the Mexicans, I don't need Mexico," Trump reportedly told the Mexican president. "We are going to build the wall and you all are going to pay for it, like it or not."

Just announced by Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC that this news was "leaked" out of the White House.

After a former Mexican Official threatened to flood the US with drugs.

No need to invade...build the wall...it will exclude the illegal aliens and the drugs. Let Mexico deal with both.

Just announced by Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC that Trump reportedly told President Nieto that he may send American troops in.

As you well know, President Donald Trump won by a landslide. Simple, compare what virtually all polls, pundits and Progressives believed they would win both by a landslide. Instead, they lost by a landslide. Just pull our the state of California and President Trump wins the popular vote in a landslide as well.

Please show your source and link stating that President Trump said he is sending troops. Or are you posting FAKE NEWS?

What landslide? Hillary received 3 million more votes than Trump.

You still clinging to irrelevant votes, snowflake? :p

Obvious misdirection.

The real plan is to invade Canada, so Trump can get a steady supply of Klondyke bars for Baron.

(Some people will believe anything, lets see how many believe this)

Mexican Drug Cartels, armed with weapons they got from Barry, have actually crossed our border from time to time, escorting drug shipments.

I would live to see a couple of A-10s destroy them then send them across the border to wipe out the cartels...

This makes more sense.

I'd say Mexico is the most worthy country of a U.S. invasion.
No culture / country has been a greater detriment to the U.S. both socially and economically.

As I pointed out in another thread, 100 years ago, almost to the day, General Pershing's troops had to retreat from Mexico. On foot, not exactly covered in glory, because they had failed to locate Pancho Villa. They couldn't use trains, because Villa's partisans would have sabotaged them.

And I expect Mexico's president to deny the call. He's from their right-wing party, and currently has abysmal popularity ratings. The Mexican public universally despises Trump. If it were known that their president didn't tell Trump to fuck off after that threat, he'd be run out of office.

We are getting a wall. Just received an E-mail alert from FNC.

Gen. John F. Kelly, the Homeland Security secretary and retired four-star Marine general, tells Fox News that he wants the U.S.-Mexico border wall completed in two years.

DHS secretary: Border wall should be finished in two years

Mexico has been invading the US for decades. Trump is just being neighborly and returning the favor.
