WINNING! Federal Judge Dismisses 14th Amendment Lawsuit Attempting to Keep Trump off Ballot

They don't have to.

All they have to show is Trump incited one on January 6, and that's enough to keep him off the ballot. He doesn't have to be indicted or convicted.
That's going to be impossible since Trump told the crowd to protest peacefully and patriotically.

Aside from an obvious appeal to your TDS, was a dude wearing a silly hat with horns really causing an insurrection™.

Videos from the day of the attack appear to show some officers escorting rioters inside the building. In one video, USCP officers can be seen opening barricades allowing the mob to enter the Capitol complex without resistance.

Sounds more like a guided tour.

But, um, yeah. Insurrection™. Go with that.

Democrats obviously care more about their politicians than the American people.

Actually, Section 3 is pretty clearly defined. If you engage in insurrection, you can't run for office.

Also, the judge ruled that the plaintiffs (Two private citizens) didn't have standing.

It's going to be a totally different game when state attorney generals file such lawsuits.
Trump did not have anything to do with Portland and Seattle. Those were the insurrections.

No one was charged with insurrection. Is insurrection in the indictments?
Many Confederates were not charged with Insurrection and yet they were still barred from office.

A particular participating or leading individual need not be charged with Insurrection in order for an Insurrection to take place.

But thank you for trotting-out that old, beat-up ineffective defense.

That was a war not an insurrection.

It's not going to work, liberals. Precedent has now been set and Trump will get be every state ballot. Any attempt to keep him off the ballot will be futile.

It was too early to make the motion, after conviction is the time to declare disqualification.

Silly hat with horns went to jail for 18 months... Some of the insurrectionists will be spending years behind bars. They should have waited for the guided tour.

Which of the insurrectionists were charged with insurrection?
