We have to amend the Constitution, with a blanket that can be incorporated over the States.

All it has to say is, "no state shall coerce medical treatment or lack of medical treatment from any citizen".

Bing bam boom, done.

In one fell swoop we've taken care of abortion, transgenderism, Covid, and a whole host of other issues which would otherwise be fodder for partisan argumentation

That is a very good idea. Of course, you can't reduce it to "no more...", since birth control is not 100%.
 
While I believe marriage is between a man and a woman, it is not a federal issue any more than abortion.

People should have the same RIGHTS throughout the country. It's should NOT be legal for gays to marry in one state, and not another.

Voting rights should be the same nation wide, as well as abortion rights and marriage rights. Education too.

The opinion of the majority damn well is more than relevant. Your nation never learns from its mistakes. If the majority of the citizens oppose a law, the law cannot stand, and the attempt to impose the law, will undermine the rule of law and people's willingness to obey the law.

Abortion was legalized to stop illegal abortions and the damage they cause. Not because people favoured abortion, but because the law didn't work, and people refused to follow the law.

Traditional marriage must be increased as for civilization to continue at a cheaper price. A despot will come to power to enforce that at some point, or we will do it for common sense and still have some freedoms.
What is traditional marriage? Does it say that in the constitution? If so, where?
