Using the logic of unseen crimes hurt no one .. a viewer of the filthy, nasty child porn in the privacy of their own home hurts no one. The production of it does, and with the proliferation of trafficking across the southern border and the lack of enforcement from the federal level .. that is what grows as the demand for that crap intensifies.Child porn finances the creation of more child porn, thus harming more children.
Laundering money facilitates the illegal source of the money being laundered.
But there is no such thing as "illicit drug usage".
The drug laws have no legal authority, since they do not defend, but just arbitrarily proscribe.
Might be easy to look at this in a certain way a provocative way. But people here are well aware of the story it was presented on this form. But now it is come to my attention, and perhaps others that this woman has killed herself. Some suggesting it was due to all of the pressure that came from her arrest, which appears to have been unnecessary. And now people need to think about the videos They put out on YouTube putting peoples face out there in public like this. This was somebody’s friend somebody’s daughter, perhaps even somebody’s mother. And now she killed herself.
It aint a joke anymore. its a reality she’s dead. Rip Christina Revels-Glick…

Anybody have any idea, how this story bubbled to the top, since the beach incident was 2022 and her death (supposedly by suicide but possibly a violent murder as reported by 4 that knew her) was on March 3, 2023? I am not sure what this has to do with social media.
Is it illegal to use a sex toy on yourself in public? I’m thinking it probably is.She said no one could have seen her, so then even if someone did see, she had no illegal intent. It was criminal to arrest her. She was harming no one.

The point being .. breaking the law, even in private, is unacceptable.
So watching child porn is legal?Wrong.
You are not breaking the law in private when viewing child porn.
You are financing the trade of producing more child porn.
What I said is that to be illegal, it has to HARM someone.
It is possible to do harmful things in private, like break into a vault, commit murder, etc.
But playing with a sex toy when you believe no one can see and be harmed, can not be illegal.

Your logic is skewed .. a law abiding citizens possessing or buying a 30 round magazine in California, Colorado or any other gun hating state .. hurts no one. There are so many examples of laws that can be broken that hurt no one (in some instances, law abiding citizens), that can be broken in private.Wrong.
I said the exact opposite, which is that watching child porn finances the creation of more child porn.
With child porn, the children are harmed.
I said that it is when no one is harmed that there can be no violation of law.

Rigby, what brought this to the top 9 months after her death? I saw several reports of this in December. Did some new report come out? Without that, it looks like somebody said "Hey, lets report this again for the holidays, as it wasn't much of a splash, the first time around", and with nothing but happy holiday and good economy going on, others noticed and published their own. Here is more of the back story:
{...
The aftermath of the beach incident was a rapid downward spiral for Christina. The public exposure and the viral nature of the bodycam footage added to her existing burdens. Struggling with alcohol and drug abuse, her life seemed to be in a state of freefall. Tragically, just eight months after the beach incident, Christina's life came to a somber end. She was found dead in her apartment in Hinesville, having succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. At the age of 35, Christina's tumultuous journey reached its conclusion.
...}
The point is the police video was published illegally on social media, and invaded her privacy.
What people do not realize is that while you are free to legally capture any video that you can see your self, you do NOT have the legal right to ever publish it on any media like the internet, without permission.
Public shaming if far more effective than quietly stowing them away in jail for 6 months...I was annoyed when i kept seeing this story and video everywhere. Her punishment of public humiliation FAR exceeded her "crime". This is fucking tragic.
