In fact, I know elderly women well past menopause who's doctor's still prescribe birth control pills to them--just to keep their bones healthy--so they don't end up with brittle bone disease known as Osteoporosis.

So what's the freakin problem? It takes two to tango--and what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

What we really need to do is produce a male contraceptive device. Something they must do, because we can't rely on them to take a pill as they are not the ones getting pregnant. Perhaps all men should have a reversable vasectomy, even those, like TK, who never have sex, just in case a miracle happens. All males who are fully matured sexually should be made to have a vasectomy and only get it reversed when they get married. That will help end the war on women.

I find this tactic quite amusing...
Look, honey it is ingrained into the human species that we are aggressive. We will take advantage of the weak at the slightest opportunity. Some cultures are just more civilized in their approach. That said, peace is assured by the barrel of a gun. Period. A potential aggressor will invariably be deterred by the strong possibility of defeat. When two opponents both believe they are the stronger, conflict is inevitable. This is who we are.
The very fact that war exists is the main reason you and I are not speaking German or Japanese right now. Or for that matter, a subject of the Queen of England...
No one "likes" war. However, it is sometimes necessary for a nation to blow up shit and kill people to protect their people and assets.

Ah. Good point. Here's your problem. You want elections to ALWAYS go your way. And when the vote does not, you scream "CHEATED!!!!"....

I'd bet the farm that if men were the ones having the babies and expected to be the primary care givers in raising those children, there were be no restriction in any religion about birth control, and the discussion we are having here, the words of Huckabee and other men, would not reflect what he is now saying. They would be 110% for birth control, abortion, etc. So hypocritical.

Here we go with the "I'm biologically a victim" argument.
Umm, tell ya what..Go scrape up some cash, buy a Lab that has the resources to research your theory that males and females should both have the capability of carrying a child and giving birth. Get back to us on that.
Until that happens, you will just have to live with the fact that men and women ARE indeed different.

This is a very stupid argument for Republicans to make. Huckabee is the LAST person anyone should listen to on female issues, as it was his guest that senator that stated women's bodies can turn off their reproductive system when raped--DA--DUH?

First of all--birth control pills are a prescription only pill--much like Viagra and all of the male enhancement drugs that are required to be paid for by the insurer, and have been for decades now.

Furthermore--the use of birth control pills in women--is NOT only to prevent pregnancy. Many women have to have them to control monthly cycles, otherwise they are miserable. Estrogen which is what birth control pills are--are very good for women's BONES. In fact, I know elderly women well past menopause who's doctor's still prescribe birth control pills to them--just to keep their bones healthy--so they don't end up with brittle bone disease known as Osteoporosis.

So what's the freakin problem? It takes two to tango--and what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Huckabee and his IGNORANT comrades are how the war on women gets started and how Republicans LOSE elections, just put that dumb ass on ignore.
