It is rather ironic that West Virginians.....perhaps the folks that Trump lied to the most about the viability of coal mining........are still the biggest backers of the orange clown.......Must be the water (or kool-aid.).

I just read where South Carolina is scrapping a planned Nuclear Powerplant. This plant was needed to meet growing demand. Instead of the Nuclear Powerplant, the power companies are considering restarting a previously shuttered Coal Plant. They need the power, and they need to do something to get it.

South Carolina nuke plants scrapped, may return to coal - Hot Air

If South Carolina..... sorry. When South Carolina restarts that coal plant where do you think they will get the coal? Or perhaps they will decide to burn wood pellets instead. That is a totally green option.

One interesting thing about the South Carolina power plant story. They started that move when Obama was just the nominee. They believed and bet that coal would stay expensive and be regulated out. The Natural Gas was expensive and expected to remain expensive and Nuclear even with Democrats in charge seemed like a good idea.

South Carolina is perhaps number 2 in the delusional Trump ass kissers' cadre.

China is producing 2/3 of the world's solar panels, with India producing a good chunk of the remaining 1/3, while the U.S. is still harping on coal that very few buyers are interested in.....

We are dealing with 19th century "solutions" in a 21 century environment. Good luck with that.

Any word yet on when Democrats are going to win back the 1000 elected seats they're lost over the last 6 years?

Any word yet on when the Trump fans will stop hiding behind smokescreens and address the issues at hand?

Trump was still telling the same coal lies at that rally. How long before the right realizes and admits he's lying to them? From their reaction to his phony media launch, it will still be a while.

And yet there has been an increase in jobs in the coal mining sector. Lets see how the Solar power industry competes in the US with out their sugar daddy Obama supporting them.

That venue was funny....holds less than 10K people....the Padres during this sucky season pull more than that on a weekday game......

Any word on when the Republicans are going to accomplish anything of their legislative agenda? Or is "winning elections" all that matters?

Like the dog that finally caught the car they have been chasing, they seem flummoxed by what to do next.

Trump

Trump will bring down the Republican Party with him

Just like Nixon and Bush 43 did

You're not very smart are ya? Where does one of the few moderate dem senators represent? The governor switched parties and how many calls to you think Mansion's office is getting?

.

Trump would rather continue to con the people of WV and Kentucky about ‘coal jobs’ instead of affording them education and training opportunities to get them out of the dying coal industry and into jobs that have a future.

The governor of WV was a Republican in 2015. He then switched to the Democrats in 2016 to run for governor. And now in 2017, he's switching back to the Republicans to ride the coattails of a popular President in the state.

That's swamptastic!
