In their make believe world they are. Funny thing is the grass and garden still keeps growing, we'll still have water in the well, the apple trees could care less about their cyber world and the chickens do not depend on it to get their daily grain either. The cats are still going to chase rats and mice and the dogs are still going to chase off the wild critters that live here about, so on and so forth.

Now city folk may have a bit of an issue because they depend on the things that get moved by links with the cyber world but even that can be bypassed when needed and goods can still be picked up and delivered when needed.

Just start stacking on-sale canned foods in a closet, it is so cheap and easy. Anyone starving when Deep State busts its next move will receive no sympathy from me.

We keep the basics like beans and rice, pasta, etc. and have for many years. We actually utilized the fish during some extremely lean times while trying to survive WF's take out and scorched earth policy towards those who won't bend to their will after they get caught committing fraud; plus now we have lots of eggs layers too.
