Would Ben Carson ever argue that someone with no experience as a brain surgeon

would be an ideal choice for your hospital's brain surgeon?

If not,

why is he arguing that someone with no experience in government is somehow uniquely qualified to hold the most important position in our government?

Maybe he is because he saw Obama. Of course Obama is an argument against someone with no experience but fair is fair.

We are supposed to be a citizens government. Nobody is uniquely qualified to be President, but he is qualified to do the job.

What about Trump and Fiorina? Did you not bash them because you are a racist?

If Obama is an argument against not electing someone with little experience in government,

that argument disqualifies Carson,

but Carson is making the opposite argument. He argues that his inexperience is his best credential.

I have no experience as a brain surgeon. Would you choose me over a career brain surgeon to cut your head open?

We are supposed to have a citizen's army too.

Do you think every schmo out there is equally qualified to be a general?

Trump and Carson are representative of the wrongheaded conservative notion of the 'citizen politician' – a naïve and inane anachronism predicated on the errant notion that 'anyone' can be a successful president, a notion as ridiculous as it is wrong.

Wonder what curriculum is studied to become president?
For Dems.......

Carson is not "every schmo" and the voters have opportunity to decide if he's qualified.

Why not going after Trump and Fiorina? Racist?

The fact that 'anyone' cannot be president is part of why elections are such a good way to pick leaders ... the people decide if a candidate is qualified.

Gotta love the fact that the principal criterion for the top three GOP candidates is "they have absolutely no experience."

On a pragmatic level, this suggests that the people voting for them would have the guy who cuts their hair fix their car. Because a mechanic would have experience, and experience is now a Bad Thing.

In my book, Ronald Reagan was the very tops.

So you like the idea of calling fortune tellers into the White House to help set foreign policy? You know that happened, right?

Well, Clinton was totally incompetent as Secretary of State and has been polled as being the most untrustworthy person in America but she does claim to be a combat veteran. I guess that's why you guys support her? Her combat experience?

So you're conceding that Carson should not be president for the same reason you think Obama shouldn't have been president?

lol, you lose.

Well, he learned enough to kick your ass pretty often. The right is so incompetent till they can't even beat someone they think doesn't know what he is doing.

No, being an entrenched hack is a bad thing.
