1) Legally, we can't. Again, this isn't like Trump stiffing the poor fool who glazed the windows at Trump Tower.
2) If you tell the world that US Treasury Bonds are Junk Bonds, who do you think is going to buy them? Keep in mind, between his infrastructure plan and his tax cuts for the rich, Trumpenfuhrer is going to need to borrow more money than we are now.
