“You wanna know what I do now?" "I sell guns.”

So you are telling em that them people buying guns ILLEGALLY would be curbed by registration and or broader checks? LOL dumbfuck
The Iron Pipe Line is about people in a state with tough gun laws going to legally purchase guns in a state with loose gun laws.

Just admit you favor looser gun laws over the lives of law enforcement and we can move on

I apologized. I didn't know that "pipeline" was being purchased legally..

Straw purchase, illegal in any state.

Tightening up firearm laws only affects honest gun owners.

criminals don't give a shit how many new gun laws are passed.

They're going to ignore them anyway

The Iron Pipe line buyer is an honest purchaser at the time of purchase of a gun. They are NOT buying for somebody else. They are LEGALLY purchasing a gun in a state with loose gun laws.

you'd rather have looser gun laws than save the lives of law enforcement

You are such a troll.
I didn't say anything of the sort.
You don't care about the dead cops in NYC. You want to keep open the Iron Pipeline.

you'd rather have looser gun laws than save the lives of innocent children and law enforcement
I just don't believe in bullshit legislation that wont do a fuckin thing, troll. I think Washington wastes enough time
Washington? Stop deflecting. You do not support legislation that would save the lives of law enforcement.
that is the whole point; would we even be having this discussion if gun lovers were busier convincing their elected representatives they can be responsible with their Arms in public.

Wifes maybe, Arms, No.

They are LEGALLY purchasing a gun in a state with loose gun laws.

ONLY if they live in that state.

Try reading the federal law I posted

There's something like 2500 federal, state, and local firearm laws and ordinances. Murder is already illegal. So is selling guns without an FFL in some states. NY state enacted some of the toughest gun laws last year and it's already nigh on impossible to legally own handguns in NYC.

The market for illegal guns in already there among criminals. Making it harder for law abiding citizens to get guns doesn't make it harder for criminals to get illegal guns (see also: drugs). All it does is make it harder for the law abiding citizen.

Instead of further restricting the 100,000,000+ gun owners who won't commit a crime., how about we just make violent criminals stay in prison?

Would we even need gun laws, with recourse to better aqueducts, better roads, and more well regulated militia.

But the NRA says that the answer is more guns. And if that doesn't work, sell more guns. And if that doesn't work, sell more guns.

The definition of insanity is what?

Yes…more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens…right now all those states you mentioned….have criminals carrying and using guns and they make it almost impossible for law abiding people to carry guns for self defense.

And New York has some of the strictest gun laws in the country….so it doesn't matter where the criminals get their guns…they are ignoring current New York gun laws.

He bought the firearm legally?
out of state

the market is there because some states have loose laws. no uniformity. the people who buy guns and then turn around and sell them illegally, think they can get away with it BECAUSE they buy the guns outside of their own states or the states they are selling them in

stop being disingenuous. just admit you favor loose gun regulations over the lives of law enforcement

They have uniformity….all licensed gun dealers have to do a federally mandated background check….and from the stories I have posted, these gun traffickers use people with clean records to buy their guns in those states…..so no…the gun laws are not looser….

No…you guys favor dead cops from your policies on police….you under fund these police departments….you understaff these police departments and then you undermine the cops by supporting groups that hate cops…..

this isn't about making it harder for non criminals. people who buy guns legally and then later sell them illegally are not criminals at the time they purchase the guns

this isn't about crime in general. It's about the Iron Pipeline.

looser gun laws combined with no uniformity across states feeds the killing of law enforcement officers

Nope….they are law abiding gun owners who follow all the laws you guys wanted…..we have told you that criminals do not obey your laws but you insisted on them….and just like we said they are not stopping gun crime….so now you want more laws that won't stop gun crime….that is insanity…

The problem is that you now have a socialist as Mayor of New York and he is implementing policies that undermine the police…..he also stopped stop and frisk which did the most to curb gun violence in New York.

Just admit some of you favor looser gun laws over the lives of law enforcement

then we can move on

Just be honest

Be honest,

you don't have a clue about the subject, do you?

We need stricter gun laws because of straw purchases (already illegal by the way) =/= Not harder on the law abiding.

They commit the crime by knowingly supplying guns to criminals….they then become criminals…….and as we keep telling you….background checks won't stop this….they have background checks in all of those states….registering guns will not stop this….all of those states could register every last gun they have and it will not stop criminals from getting those guns……you can license all gun owners and it will not stop this…since the guy who purchased the gun legally will register that gun….and then sell it to the criminal….

Just like we told you….

And yet you ignore us and keep pushing for gun laws that will not address this problem.

The solution is simple and elegant…..you arrest criminals caught with illegal guns and you lock them up for a long, long time…..that is the only way you stop criminals and guns.

If you really want to stop gun violence you should require all gun buyers to show their voter registration card….if they are a democrat…you can't sell them the gun…since gun violence is highest in all the voting districts that voted for obama…..
