11,629 more go on food stamps each day..

Wait.. I thought the economy is on a "roar"??? BAhahahahaha
fuckin BS

Isnt this the definition of "safety net"? How wonderful a country to have the ability to feed our poor and unemployed rather than let them starve...until this horrible economic mess passes. What caused this economic mess anyway?

I have an extremely hard time imagining anyone starving in the USA. Perhaps you could explain that to us? Even in the the worst of the post-Bush period, I was not unaware of any starvation. Please show me where people have been starving, or admit to being the self-righteous punk which is far more obvious as well as far more tired.

We give people food, and then you come along and say, "I don't see no hungry people!" Brilliant.

Okay. Let's stop providing them with food. Then you will see millions of them. Would that make you happy?

With that many people collecting food Stamps, how are things getting any better in this economy?

So is this because they need it or because they're lazy? Which angle are you going with today?

Angle?
I keep hearing the economy is improving......Everything is getting better
at the same time 11,629 more go on food stamps each day! I just don't
believe you can have both a growing economy and that type of increase in
food stamps. Some one is lying, and the increase in food stamps is not debatable.

Ok, so they DO need it? The poor aren't lazy? 47% of the country aren't moochers? These people are in fact struggling is what you are saying?

Just want to be sure which way the wind is blowing this week for you.

The economy is improving.

And the people it has been improving for, aren't sharing.

Even though the people they don't share with, saved their butts.

And also provide them with income.

Hence the wisdom of "trickle down" economics gets another nail in it's coffin.

Ahh, you're right. Lets just make the move to socialism already so we can all get food stamps.

You ever been here?

I've been to the Czech Republic.

And from what I've seen, NYC homeless are in much more sorry shape then the homeless in Prague.

That's like the Evel Knevel of logical leaps. Snake River Canyon style!

A homeless man can make roughly $100 a day on a semi-busy intersection. At least that's what I've read from people actually trying it. Not to mention they can get free meals at the local homeless shelters.

So no, they don't seem too bad off to me.

If they have it so great, why don't you do it? Become homeless, live off food stamps, get your Obamaphone. Live the good life!

You idiots have no clue what the real world is like.

Well, what would be the next logical step?

We don't live in full blown capitalism, and yet you're talking about the lucky ones not sharing.

Last I checked, government is as big as it's ever been. Since you're not happy with our current mixed economy I just thought you were striving for the next choice further down the left.

Because I don't consider mooching off the system to be the "good life."
