157 IRS Whitehouse visits scandal.......More like 11 visits

Apparently some here have a problem with me posting about the lack of a short-in-stature equine mammal for certain individuals.

Fine. The message is still the same, though:

What the ODS crowd thinks they're getting from all the scandal mongering...

...they ain't gettin'. :deal:

How many secret email aliases does Schulman have?

I bet if we find out the name of his dog, he will show up 396 times on the White House visitors log.

Rachel Maddow did a great segment on this a few minutes ago. Bottom line - the truth has not stopped Fox from repeating the debunked "157" lie.

What is the truth Lakhota?

As Politico points out, the agency heads DO NOT have to sign in.

Because agency heads are often waived past security, the visitor logs show that Shulman only tapped his security badge to enter the grounds 11 times from 2009 to 2012.

11 visits according to the White House visitors log, where he signed in. The rest where simply recorded. So basically he only signed in 11 times and the White House claims this puts the lie to the record as reported by the Daily Caller.

And you know the White House never lies.........

I love it!

Way to go Conservatives.......when your conspiracy falls apart you can always fall back on.......Obama LIES!

Why exactly doesn't the corruption and scandals of this administration bother you?

First, Obama does lie. It's the truth. Why do you think stating the truth is bad or somehow wrong? And why do you want to ignore it.

Second, these scandals actually happened. Pretending they didn't is going to make this administration any less corrupt. Why do you want the administration to be able to get away with this corruption and use the government to intimidate their political opponents?

This isn't a left right thing. This is a good evil thing. Corruption to this level in our government is bad. I don't care if you are Democrats or Republicans, Progressives or Conservatives. When our Republic is corrupted to this level we are in serious danger of lots of pain, destruction, and even death. And with modern technology as advanced as it is, that is going to affect a global population.

I guess all of the faggots at MSNBC are going to push their version of the truth and then all of the libs will fall back in line again.

Still, Shulman didn't refute having visiting over 118 times during testimony. That would have been a good time......don't you think? This fake fact-check bullshit is way too late to be valid.

Nice try though.

157 Visits?
Where's your proof conservatives?

oh yea.......I heard it on FoxNews for a full week

Gotta love you guys

"The alibi the White House has wedded itself to is that it had to work closely with the IRS to implement ObamaCare," the Investor's Business Daily has written -- as if that were not true.

And yet the public meeting schedules available for review to any media outlet show that very thing: Shulman was cleared primarily to meet with administration staffers involved in implementation of the health-care reform bill. He was cleared 40 times to meet with Obama's director of the Office of Health Reform, and a further 80 times for the biweekly health reform deputies meetings and others set up by aides involved with the health-care law implementation efforts. That's 76 percent of his planned White House visits just there, before you even add in all the meetings with Office of Management and Budget personnel also involved in health reform.

From the OP link.

Where's the conspiracy?

Politico. Not right wing whatsoever.

Former IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman was cleared to go to the White House nearly 150 times during his tenure, often meeting with high-ranking administration officials.

Republicans have seized on the visits — which, according to visitor logs, totaled at least 147 between 2010 and 2012 — to cast doubt on assertions by Shulman that he never told White House officials about the IRS practice of targeting conservative groups seeking a tax exemption.

Where's the conspiracy?

The conspiracy is that fact he could only remember one visit during testimony to attend an Easter Egg roll. He wouldn't answer about the reasons for any other visits. That is probable cause to believe he was lying or withholding information.

How does FoxNews consistently get it so wrong?

There it is Conservatives.......a total of 11 visits when he actually attended vs the 157 times he was listed as a cleared visitor

He still met with White House administration officials.
More than 1 out of 2 days of the business year, even.

But nothing was ever discussed about this particular behavior?

If you believe that, please stay indoors

Is this how Atlantic came up with the magic number 11? 11 visits after he was briefed that the IRS was seriously FUBAR'D?

Or the 11 times he tapped his badge?

The vast majority of Shulman’s visits came before he was formally briefed on May 3, 2012, by the IRS inspector general that the agency had wrongly targeted conservative groups. He appears on the visitor logs 11 times after that briefing.

The logs also do not necessarily reflect how often Shulman visited 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

They show how often Shulman was cleared by security to come to the White House or the Old Executive Office Building next door, not whether he actually made the trip.

Because agency heads are often waived past security, the visitor logs show that Shulman only tapped his security badge to enter the grounds 11 times from 2009 to 2012.

Show us 157 visits. No, better yet.....Tell us about what a liar Obama is

Bottom line: Where is the PROOF of a White House / IRS conspiracy?

So multiple agencies of the government just happened to be targeting conservative groups with no imput from the top?
