157 IRS Whitehouse visits scandal.......More like 11 visits

So when Shulman was asked about this at the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing why didn't he say that instead of giving a smart ass remark about the Easter Egg hunt? First it was 118 visits now 157 and now a link claiming only 11 visits so he just forgot it was 11 visits not 118 or 157.

Notice how the left are avoiding this question like the plague in this thread?

A hack RW cartoonist's work isn't proof, now is it.

Hack? The guy is brilliant. Unlike Nobel Peace prizes, they don't hand out Pulitzers to just anyone.

Well, then besides not being proof, rehashing the stale Chicago politics talking point wingnuts like to bring up isn't exactly Pulitzer-worthy, either.

Certainly portraying the IRS as Socialist Nazi Jackboots would have been more accurate, but Axelrod looks better in pinstripes.

Why exactly doesn't the corruption and scandals of this administration bother you?

Let me answer that question by posing another:

Why don't obvious partisan witch-hunts punctuated by wolf-crying and hyperbole not bother you?

The fact that there isn't one. The fact that conservative groups and candidates have been targetted by multiple agencies of the government which has been admitted.

How many scandals does this administration need to be involved in before you admit that they are corrupt?

"The fact that there isn't one" is my answer right back at you. This started off as a revelation that a few people in one field office did some things which under current law you can't even say were actually illegal and it's been drawn out into something "worse than Watergate". Thankfully it doesn't appear that the rest of the country is really buying it so far.

Odd that when asked about it, he simply wouldnt have pointed out that they were incorrect.

What evidence do we have that your site isnt just making crap up?

Under Bush, did the IRS go after the NAACP (immediately after they criticized him by the way).

So the IRS admitting conservative groups were targeting is not scandal? And it's a witch hunt to investigate this admission to find out how much corruption is there? Sure nothing is going on despite that admission and other departments likewise targeting conservative groups and candidates. These scandals are all a conspiracy from the right. Don't look at the man behind the curtain.

Is this how Atlantic came up with the magic number 11? 11 visits after he was briefed that the IRS was seriously FUBAR'D?

Or the 11 times he tapped his badge?

The vast majority of Shulman’s visits came before he was formally briefed on May 3, 2012, by the IRS inspector general that the agency had wrongly targeted conservative groups. He appears on the visitor logs 11 times after that briefing.

The logs also do not necessarily reflect how often Shulman visited 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

They show how often Shulman was cleared by security to come to the White House or the Old Executive Office Building next door, not whether he actually made the trip.

Because agency heads are often waived past security, the visitor logs show that Shulman only tapped his security badge to enter the grounds 11 times from 2009 to 2012.

Oh....yea

Stealth visits

Show us 157 visits. No, better yet.....Tell us about what a liar Obama is

actually the house oversight committee has a list of his visits. And not one single DEm in any of the hearings have denied that fact.

Don't know. But why the heck do you think I would give Bush a pass for his administrations corruption? I haven't in the past. All you've demonstrated is you're a freakin hypocrite.

The answer to the question is yes.

It did happen and the right did not make anything of it, speaking of hypocrites. Cant you see the hypocrisy here?

The same people making all this noise about this blogosphere did say a word when Bush did it to the NAACP.

IT ONLY MATTERS WHEN IT DOESNT AFFECT YOU.

Was the NAACP audited by the I.R.S. yes did they lose their tax exempt status no did they have it suspended while the investigation was ongoing no. During the Bush years was the I.R.S. searching for buzz words that indicated that groups filing for tax exempt status were liberal?

one group audited and they want to compare it with more than 90 groups that were given the run around as well as asked for information that is not allowed.

The NAACP attacked a sitting president during an election numerous times. That is obviously partisan political activity.
