250,000 Jobs Added In One Month

The Wall Street Journal & Breaking News, Business, Financial and Economic News, World News and Video

Wages increased 3.1% from one year earlier

Unemployment at its lowest point in 49 years (during the height of the Viet Nam War)

Hispanic Unemployment at historic lows. Black Unemployment at its lowest point since they started keeping track.

If you vote dimocrap this Tuesday, you hate America and Americans.

It's just that simple

A chunk of that percentage of lower unemployment is easy to explain.
Climate change is good for some business sectors.
Hurricane Harvey created tens of thousands of construction jobs in Harris County alone. Harris County is the 3rd most populated county in the U.S.
Hurricane Irma created tens of thousands of construction jobs in south Florida and Jacksonville, FL.
Hurricane Florence has created tens of thousands of construction jobs in the Carolinas.
Hurricane Michael is creating tens of thousands of construction jobs in the Florida Panhandle.
And these contractors and workers are charging top dollar.

All you have to do is learn how to think, HedgeRow.

The only important economic measure is labor participation rate

If you vote dimocrap this Tuesday, you hate America and Americans.

It's just that simple

1. The Unemployment numbers are great. Who or what is most responsible for them is open to debate.

2. Trump has attacked American alliances like NATO that have kept the peace in Europe for decades, prevented a Russian take over of Europe as well as World War III. He has weakened those Alliances with his words and thoughts and strengthened Russia and Putin. Russia and Putin want to divide and dismember the NATO Alliance, the European Union, as well as have independence movements in Spain and the United Kingdom(Scotland). Trump is on the same page as Putin on this and it is terrible for United States security and will increase the likely hood of war in Europe in the Future.

3. Trump may be an agent of the Russian Federation. There is some evidence which points to collusion with the Russians in order to get elected. Not proven yet, but certainly very concerning. Trump has sided with Putin on many issues and refuses to directly criticize him. It suggest that perhaps Putin has compromising information on Trump making the President of the United States a hostage to Putin essentially if true.

4. Trumps meeting with the North Korean leader was a disaster. The North Koreans got the face to face meeting they had wanted for decades. The United States got nothing. North Korea continues to build and upgrade is nuclear and long range missile capabilities.

5. Trump supports removing U.S. troops from South Korea and has stopped major training exercises in South Korea. All of that benefits the North Korean regime and hurts United States security.

6. Trump essentially bent over for Putin at their meeting in Helsinki Finland. Defending Putin and attacking are own security services on the issue of Russian interference in the U.S. 2016 election. He did this in full view of the public with Putin, on the world stage. Siding with an enemy of the United States over his own country. It was treason and another sign that he may be an agent of the Russian Federation.

7. Trumps Tarrifs on other countries simply mean other countries will slap tarrifs on us which will weaken United States Exports. Weakening U.S. exports will threaten the United States economy and hurt the country. This is the practice that turned the 1929 recession into the GREAT DEPRESSION!

8. Its pointless to be sending thousands of U.S. troops to the border with Mexico. We have border patrol agents and police that watch the border. Its an unnecessary political ploy to motivate ignorant elements of his base and get them to the polls.

9. The United States needs immigrants coming to this country in order to sustain economic growth. Birth rates are down. Businesses need more workers. There is a serious labor shortage in the country that may threaten future economic growth. At a time when the country needs more immigrants, Trump setting up obstacles.

10. The caravan that he opposes is not an invasion. Its simply a few thousand people who want to leave life threatening conditions in Honduras and come to the United States. The United States has millions of jobs that are not being filled. The people in this caravan can help with that. The United States army also missed its recruiting goal by 5,000 people in 2018, for the first time in 13 years. There are many people in the caravan of military age who could help with that and they are less likely than your average American in the 18-29 age group to be disqualified from service because they are overweight or obese like 67% of Americans.

Again, this goes back to my previous post #21.
Hurricane Harvey alone in August 2017 cost Houston/Harris County business owners and residents $1,250,000,000 (not a typo, 1.25 billion)
204,000 homes were flooded and damaged, with electronics, furniture and appliances destroyed and out on the curb.

1 million vehicles were destroyed.

All those appliances, electronics, furniture and cars had to be replaced.

204,000 X $15,000+/- average cost of replacement: $3,060,000,000 from Hurricane Harvey alone.

See how easy it is when you learn how to think, Beezy?

Want me to post the cost of replaced durable goods from Irma and Florence, too?
.
Just ONE street in Houston, in a county of 4.6 million, after Harvey.

There's never an ill wind that doesn't blow some good to someone.

People that vote with their money think Trump is the best thing since sliced bread.

The Market's dived when they thought (and still do, to a lesser extent) that dimocrap scum could take Congress.

Now that it's clear they have NO shot at taking the Senate and less of a shot at taking the House (although still entirely possible) people are willing to put their money where their mouth is.

Look at what happened when Trump won in '16. Incredible.

If we, The American People, win in the MidTerms and keep dimocrap FILTH from controlling an arm, any arm, of Government, the Markets will take off again.

I watch this stuff. You should, too.

dimocraps are poison to a healthy America.

If you find yourself trying to excuse away this good economy, or hoping that our military has a confrontation with a mob of illegal aliens, or justifying racism against "WHITE MEN", you have ot take a long hard look in the mirror and say out loud, "WHY AM I A CVNT?"

All of those things started 6 years ago, nothing new.

In the last 5 years 250,000 jobs in Oct is the 2nd smallest number created.

Trends have been upward since 2010. What has Your guy actually done to improve our economy?
He kept hildaskank out of the white house.
The rich already got richer; the right wing wants to cut social spending and defer infrastructure spending.

Let's pretend that had Trump been elected in 2008, that he'd have made the economy amazing over night.

Nothing like made up stories for people who grew up with made up stories in the Bible to make them feel good about themselves.

So, you're saying that Hurricanes are GOOD for the Economy?
That's an old variation of Bastiat's "Broken Window Fallacy" , which unfortunately a lot of economic illiterates haven't yet grasped even though Bastiat explained why it's a fallacy almost 200 years ago.;)

Our Board dimocrap lying piece of shit also forgot to mention the economic impact of all those dead bodies on Under Takers.

That had to help the economy.

Hurricanes KILL economies as well as people. They put millions of people out of work. They destroy infrastructure, they shut down productivity.

Hurricane Katrina caused THE ENTIRE US ECONOMY to slow from 3.8% growth to 1.3% despite the 1,836 people it killed.

But, according to dimocrap scum, that would just mean there's 1,836 job openings, right? That's gotta be good, right dimocrap scum?

Then there's the fact it shut down oil production and refining that gas went up to $5 a gallon. Good for the economy, right dimocrap scum??

dimocraps are scum

period

The Progs keep trying to convince people that Hating Trump is more important than Caring About Themselves and Their Families.

That's the Achilles heel of Totalitarianism. It is based on people giving up their rational humanity.

And yet, there are 7.1 million jobs available.

So why isn't Trump talking up the economy?

A couple of reasons.

1. Americans have figured out it started under Obama.

2. Even with a slight wage increase, the wage gap is racing ahead.

3. Tax cuts for billionaires.

4. An exploding deficit because of tax cuts for billionaires.

Trump is good at selling what he inherited. Like his fortune.
But he's not that good. As time goes on, people learn the truth.

So the slight wage increase is a continuation of Obama which was a continuation of Bush which was a continuation of... and on and on.
Exploding deficit which is a continuation of Obama, which is a continuation of Bush which is a continuation of...and on and on.

I really see no difference in the parties and it is really blurred more over the last few decades. Democrats are the party for their rich, Republicans are the party for their rich and the rest of America gets the leftovers and we are dumb enough to keep voting them in.

Government spending on infrastructure also works.
