Some observers say that one should remember that a lot of those murders are bad people shooting other bad people.

So some people think that maybe the police should not interfere.

Bottom line: The crime problem in Chicago is intractable.

So if one is forced to live in that city, one simply has to do the best that one can under the circumstances.

I think it's a lie. All of the self-proclaimed conservative supporters of the 2nd Amendment have assured me that the laws preventing felons from having guns make a difference and that no convicted felons have guns. All those shootings must be first-time criminals.
