38-year-old Florida manatee dies after ‘high-intensity’ sex with brother

I saw the location of the supposed 101.1 temp reading and couldn't help wondering how shallow the water was where they took that reading. Panic porn.
.

Absolutely.

And manatees are known for inhabiting the shallows.

And even that isn't hot enough to kill a mammal who's engaging in sex in water that temperature. I've survived sex in 104° water.

.

''...employees at the Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium reportedly allowed the brothers to continue engaging in “high-intensity interactions and occasional penetration” throughout the day.”

:cuckoo:

''Handlers maintain that Hugh and Buffett had been engaging in consensual and “natural” mating behavior for two months leading up to Hugh’s death.''

“At approximately 5:15 pm, the larger male was observed penetrating the smaller male again. When the larger male swam away, the smaller male was seen unresponsive at the bottom of the pool. It was confirmed that he had passed,” the USDA said.

That ls nature saying, hey, don't listen to those morons who just told you that having sexual intercourse with something's colon until it dies is natural mating behavior...no reproduction will occur...and, in fact, it might just kill you. :26:

What, exactly, is the temperature of the "ocean in Florida"?

Psssst. I didn't know there was an ocean in Florida. I know that there are an ocean and a sea that surround Florida.

But back to the temperature -- prove to us what the temperature is of any of the bodies of water surrounding Florida. Is it at least 104°?

Watch this:scared1:folks.

At the opposite end, even though it's been steadily in the 80's and 90's you can still die of hypothermia within 10 minutes in Lake Superior.
Lake almost never gets to 60F.

*Today's Details. Lake Superior's current water temperature is 58°F Todays forecast is, MostlyCloudy With a high around 80°F and the low around 58°F.

Want to cool off folks?
Hit the sandy beaches of Superior Wi...

The beaches are always empty.

I think the story concerns two males. What I don't quite understand is the comments from Mote Marine Lab (a well-known marine bio lab that's been around for quite some time) said it was "voluntary"; as if the manatees had the option of leaving. You wouldn't think that sort of behavior would develop if they weren't fully confined.

Yes....that would be interesting to know... poor fellow!

But its the science that you follow. LMAO

sealybobo, how come you never answer honest questions?

.
Because you ask questions that prove nothing. You can argue, banter, and try to educate me all day with your alternative facts. In the end, scientists say you are wrong.

So I don't need to get into a discussion with you fools about CO2. You seem to think you have something with this CO2 argument. Scientists have taken all that into account and ultimately, global warming is real. No one other than right wing fools are denying it. I'm almost amazed you fools still exist. It's like people who still believe the election was stolen from Trump. Or the people who think all the charges against Trump are witch hunts.

Why debate a fool? You sir are a fool. If it isn't obvious by now to yourself, it should be. Are you fucking with me? Are you Shell oil lobbyist practicing your spin on me? GTFOOH.

Just tell us what the water temperature was.

If you have a deep compulsive need to run your mouth, get a therapist.

It's not a hard question. What was the water temperature?

This is why people laugh at you here.
