4 hens lost.....

4 of my hens are gone...3 of my favorites....now my neighbor has hens too.....would it be better to call him or go down in person and look for my hens? i am not accusing him of stealing them......but it will kinda come off like that....

I'd just walk to your neighbor's home and ask if he could keep a lookout for your hens. Make him your ally in your quest to find your hens. If he's an honest man the first thing he'll do is go to his henhouse and see if your hens are mixed in with his.

You may have fox or coyote, SB...it would be neighborly to warn your neighbor.

well i have been to the neighbors..no hens.....we are all free rangers but we know out hens.....everyone is on the lookout but one guy said coyotes are back and so are bears...bears arent grabbing the chickens....one said he had trapped two foxes ...and minks....its just good to get out and find out what is going on......seems one neighbor is objecting to my letting my dogs out at 5:30 am....seems they go to his house and dump right in front of his door....ahhh life goes on
