Another point is that the topic is the wonderful news that the IDF has rescued four hostages being held by “innocent civilians” - and, like clockwork, our leftists revert to condemning Israel.

This is done to deflect from the horror that the Muslims are subjecting the Jewish hostages to. It’s the same reason the leftists tore down the posters of hostages in the early day. ANYTHING to deflect from who are the evils ones.

Ask yourself what happens when the last Hamas member is hunted down and killed. Where do the survivors go?

The 99.9% of the people of Gaza who survive this war will have a choice to make (again). They will have to decide whether they will use the inevitable BILLIONS of $ of foreign aid coming their way to build a society of peace or to rebuild (again) a culture of war. Their move.

... Israel will be forced to reckon with.

If ONLY the world would LET Israel "reckon" with it. Last I checked, Israel had a strong, economically viable, vibrant, multi-cultural, progressive society where both the Jewish people and people of other ethnic and religious groups thrive. So be it in Gaza.

At least you have offered up an actual solution, and I appreciate your contribution. I doubt any of those countries will accept them, but perhaps if they offered up generous financial assistance in their resettlement, maybe they would.

If Europe could absorb a million plus, perhaps the Middle East could as well, but I doubt any of those countries would volunteer, Jordan likely does not have the room.

In another irony, half of Cyprus is occupied, by all measures illegally, by Turkey, it has historically always been a Greek island until half was taken by military force in the 70's.
