What does the Mayor have to do with this? Police do not prevent crimes; they react to them.

People shoot each other because they cannot resolve their disputes rationally and peacefully, and lack the patience to deal with things that irritate them. No Mayor can resolve that.

Much like in my city, the top two reasons for shootings and murders are drug deals and blacks who have no control over their anger.

It's actually not totally my idea. I call this law Mom's law.

When we were small children, me and my siblings would fight like most kids do. When my mother tried everything else and had enough, she separated us and forced us to play in separate rooms. After a while we figured out a way to play together peacefully so we could be reunited. That's what needs to happen to save this country: Mom's law.

We need to separate this country so the leftists can see what their ideas would create, except without the rest of us suffering from their policies. Their side of the country with very high crime, weak police, flooded with immigrants, businesses fleeing to the much lower taxed Republican country, people helpless because no guns are allowed, rolling blackouts all the time, they'd collapse in less than five years.

It's like Rush Limbaugh used to say. You can never tell anybody they are wrong. They have to come to that conclusion themselves. All you can do is provide them with the information and tools to come up with that conclusion. Separating the country into two countries would do exactly that.
