Whats the rationale behind suing the gun maker unless the gun blows up in your hand or some other malfunction that causes injury or death?

Most gun makers don't have piles of cash just sitting around that they can just spend defending against multiple fake law suits......if one can sue them then many can sue them......bankrupting them...gun control by other means....

So what? Most people dont have piles of cash sitting around to defend themselves against frivolous lawsuits. If the gun company makes a defective product that results in injury to the user or someone else then their asses are liable. They shouldnt be exempt from being sued.

And, as swipe, they are not immune if they make a defective product......they are not being sued because of a defective product moron.......they had no part in the shootings but anti gunners see this as a way to put them out of business...

The legal system is set up to rectify that. If they have a frivolous lawsuit and lose they get to pay court costs.

We don't have loser pays........this case should have never gone forward.....now they have to pay for a legal defense.
